X was running brilliantly today. Forwards running trains have made a huge difference. Never felt the need to re-ride before, and kids we're loving it, running round again.

Perfect step up from fish, and with the new attraction next door in 2016, this will grab some of those families in, and soften the crowds. Actually one of Thorpe's better decisions.

X should get a big fat ministry of sound sponsorship and sponsorship R kitted out even more and have the queue upgraded with more lighting, projectors, smoke and lasers and they should bring in an on ride photo and even possibly some nice new air conditioning to make that pyramid cold in summer rather than slightly less hot than outside as it was last year

Well, Thorpe would tell you that its meant to look all worn like that, along with every other area in the park...

Yep, it's laughable the state that most of the park is in, because it "fits" in with the theme.  I'm sorry but overgrown weeds, broken walls, worn paintwork and rusty/oil-covered track does NOT fit in with any theme other than "derelict theme park."

I don't think thorpe would pretend that broken / graffiti walls in X are part of its theme..

X is touched up and repainted every year.. Last year after being open around 2 hours the walls were all ruined from graffiti, unfortunately painted wood is easy to scratch, I've no doubt it will be redone over closed season but after a day it will be ruined again.

Of course they could knock down the queue and start again / cover the walls in something more graffiti proof but thats probably easier said than done.

Roll up, roll up, for Thorpe Park, the only derelict theme park themed theme park in the history of theme parks!!

You'll have not been to La Ronde in Montreal then? now that is run down and a disgrace - TP is not that, but does need some attention.

Perhaps create a wall covering consisting of graffiti, relating to parks and rides and the "meaning of X", and see if the new stuff can be spotted.

Originally the walkways were within the theme, but having changed it, it's difficult due to the length of them.
