September 15, 201410 yr comment_192015 X: Brave the //no way: out backwards//::: But, yes coasterdude, that is a really good idea.
September 15, 201410 yr comment_192016 Though I really do miss the name X:\No Way Out, with my idea, I would still settle with 'X:\Rewind', sticking with the rave sort of theme...
September 19, 201410 yr comment_192402 I have the X music loop If any of you want it I can send it to you just PM me your email.
October 3, 201410 yr comment_193714 Rather annoyingly, the flood lights were on on X today. Kinda eerie when you see it so bare.
November 7, 201410 yr comment_196904 X was running brilliantly today. Forwards running trains have made a huge difference. Never felt the need to re-ride before, and kids we're loving it, running round again. Perfect step up from fish, and with the new attraction next door in 2016, this will grab some of those families in, and soften the crowds. Actually one of Thorpe's better decisions.
November 12, 201410 yr comment_197170 Snippet picked up yesterday it seems that X will be staying though it's departure had been on the cards, and they may convert the building to an event venue to allow them to have noisier and larger events than in the Dome. This change may be put on hold due to the new ride.
November 12, 201410 yr comment_197171 In their changing market it'll be a very poor decision to remove X. Maybe they can tidy it up a little bit but not remove it! Thorpes best coaster IMO #h8rsh8
November 12, 201410 yr comment_197172 It's in the best shape it's ever been in. Whoever thought removing it NOW when they want family attractions (and after years of it being forgotten and smelling of sick), should be fired! AND considering an event space, when the arena had been left to rot for years is just hilarious!
November 12, 201410 yr comment_197173 To be fair, at least if they did convert it into an event arena they could re use the lighting rigs. Gotta save those pennies.
November 12, 201410 yr comment_197197 X should get a big fat ministry of sound sponsorship and sponsorship R kitted out even more and have the queue upgraded with more lighting, projectors, smoke and lasers and they should bring in an on ride photo and even possibly some nice new air conditioning to make that pyramid cold in summer rather than slightly less hot than outside as it was last year
November 12, 201410 yr comment_197200 The X queueline is in need of a proper refurb, it's in a dire state with smashed holes in walls, bits ripped off walls, graffiti, dust and worn paint.

Well, Thorpe would tell you that its meant to look all worn like that, along with every other area in the park....
November 12, 201410 yr comment_197208 Well, Thorpe would tell you that its meant to look all worn like that, along with every other area in the park... Yep, it's laughable the state that most of the park is in, because it "fits" in with the theme. I'm sorry but overgrown weeds, broken walls, worn paintwork and rusty/oil-covered track does NOT fit in with any theme other than "derelict theme park."
November 12, 201410 yr comment_197209 Yep, it's laughable the state that most of the park is in, because it "fits" in with the theme. I'm sorry but overgrown weeds, broken walls, worn paintwork, rusty/oil-covered track and Storm Surge does NOT fit in with any theme other than "derelict theme park." Fixed that for you, on the topic of X and its surroundings.
November 12, 201410 yr comment_197211 I don't think thorpe would pretend that broken / graffiti walls in X are part of its theme.. X is touched up and repainted every year.. Last year after being open around 2 hours the walls were all ruined from graffiti, unfortunately painted wood is easy to scratch, I've no doubt it will be redone over closed season but after a day it will be ruined again. Of course they could knock down the queue and start again / cover the walls in something more graffiti proof but thats probably easier said than done.

Roll up, roll up, for Thorpe Park, the only derelict theme park themed theme park in the history of theme parks!!
November 12, 201410 yr comment_197223 You'll have not been to La Ronde in Montreal then? now that is run down and a disgrace - TP is not that, but does need some attention. Perhaps create a wall covering consisting of graffiti, relating to parks and rides and the "meaning of X", and see if the new stuff can be spotted. Originally the walkways were within the theme, but having changed it, it's difficult due to the length of them.
November 27, 201410 yr comment_198089 Do people on this planet seriously listen to "music" like that?
November 27, 201410 yr comment_198101 X really needs this on loop as its soundtrack ahaha what the??!???!! maybe not always April fools though? haha
November 27, 201410 yr comment_198106 That's weird (refrains from making any comments which might get me admonished by monitors), I'm saying nothing about legs and paltry jokes. (how did you find that?)
