Will Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 It's no secret I'm not the most sensitive of people, but damn this song is just... wow. That voice, and that production... I love her voice and I like the production. Idk why a part of the production sounds kinda hip-hop to me. Edit: It reminds me a bit of Lana Del Rey Quote
Sidders Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 For Mr. Tolson: I think this is her best song yet (save maybe the single version of 'Lights'; it's very Ellie. I don't like the video though. Video is hipster orgasm material. Liam T 1 Quote
Valentez Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 It's no secret I'm not the most sensitive of people, but damn this song is just... wow. That voice, and that production... The only track I like from her happens to be a remix by Disclosure, great track though.....sounds a lot like the sort of House music comming out of the late 90's, those were the days...... Quote

Smidget Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 A friend of mine sent me this song the other day... my brain feels somewhat violated. Quote

Sidders Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Enjoying quite a bit of music lately. Hard to define, and it's not usually my kind of music by any stretch, but I suppose they're all easy-listening/electronic and revolve around the theme of love/devotion/whatever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiSShkmSvNE Quote
Ryan Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Just discovered this, really nice song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rigV-nZTYNU Quote
Ellie Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 This is an absolutely gorgeous song. I've had it on repeat the past few evenings The video makes me cry every time too. Also, I quite like this Katy Perry song but I found it awkward to listen to at first just because of the story behind it. But I got over that! Quote
rollerross11 Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Marina needs more credit for how amazing of an artist she is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C89O5NhWDsI and her new single HTBAH is so catchy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3hmQvVN3eY&feature=related Quote
Smidget Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 So, Gangnam Style is totally being played in clubs and bars now. Well, at least in Portsmouth it is! Quote
Mark9 Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 So, Gangnam Style is totally being played in clubs and bars now. Well, at least in Portsmouth it is! Undercover "I'm at uni" post if I ever did see one. Quote
AdamY Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 MTV are bangin' out the tunes today - had S Club 7, Westlife and All Saints... into the modern day now though, they're playing Pon de Replay! I'd genuinely forgotten the existence of this song. Edit... I realised Carly Rae Jepsen's album Kiss came out a few days ago, out of curiosity more than anything I've just stuck it on in Spotify. I'm only up to track 6, but so far it's actually pretty good! Some quite decent sounding songs, will take a few listens to know what I really think of it but it at least shows some promise so far rollerross11 1 Quote
Smidget Posted September 23, 2012 Report Posted September 23, 2012 Undercover "I'm at uni" post if I ever did see one. Unintentional. I'm sure it's being played elsewhere too seeing as it has charted... Quote

Benin Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 So yeah, Muse at the O2 on Friday, that was good, decent set for lighting and Matt prancing about everywhere blaring out his guitar... As for the new album, Unsustainable has grown on me, and live was pretty much an epic opening to a gig, with Survival being at the end and again being a decent finale song, so much cheese but <3 Supremacy is also good, with Madness having an exceptional laser show, same for Follow Me... Panic Station was also well received and a bit silly... Then the slow songs happen... God they're awful on the album, and not much better live... I just cannot get myself to like them and after Explorers (I think) the crowd was extremely subdued... Shame... Still, they played the usual mob of songs as well, the classics, including one very old one I hadn't heard before, and Stockholm Syndrome... Wahey... And the best moments of the night? Well... Deleted Users Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 You haven't heard Sunburn? Bad Benin. I think I'm done with Muse for a while after seeing all of Origin at Reading. The new album is OK but Unsustainable, Explorers and Big Freeze are really awful. Kind of funny they still play Undisclosed Desires and not MK Ultra or Unnatural Selection as well. Quote
Dan9 Posted November 8, 2012 Report Posted November 8, 2012 Oh yes, the O2 shows were fantastic. Can't seperate them on enjoyment. Two varied setlists, two brilliant performances, better stage, band seem like they're more into it, FRICKIN' SUNBURN, FALLING DOWN + HOST. Probably the best two gigs I've ever been to actually, better than Wembley and Reading even. Helps that The 2nd Law is MUCH better than The Resistance though. I hated Unsustainable for ages, that was until I saw it live. Jesus... (And Explorers is awesome *huff*) Also, you. Justice. 17 minutes. Do it... 7:23 is just Quote
MikeC Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 The Gangnam Style remix is much better Quote
Tom Posted November 14, 2012 Report Posted November 14, 2012 Getting pretty obsessed with the Wreck-It Ralph soundtrack even by artists I never really liked. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8Kvc4RiMxE Also super loving this Maaaah just love Disney. Luke_A 1 Quote
