TraX
The whole thing is something of an admittance that the park's own teams are unable or unwilling to challenge themselves this year. ^ Indeed this. Nothing to do with budget. Both attractions, and the show were done by a passionate team, that no longer work there. The old manager did some interviews with ScareTour, and demonstrated how detailed and intricate those old mazes were. Something they had difficulty recreating last year too, hence they got cut from this year. Sad times. JoshuaA
CWOAfanMalcolm
Last day has been changed to a 5 0 clock shut Monday 2nd November Unsurprising but Annoying
Matt 236
Indeed it has. Probably a good job I'm not going now as plans to go that day fell through with this being the last nail in the coffin. Really really wish they'd stop doing these late minute opening hour cut backs as some people they've got to abruptly change their plans or worse, waste three hours done nothing. Merry-go-girl
But don't they sometimes stay open later then advertised if the day calls for it? Maybe they're just leaving themselves the opportunity to close early?
Mark9
Historically that day has always been completely empty.

Matt 236
Should be going Saturday hopefully, been wanting to do Chrssington Halloween for years, hopefully won't turn out to be a disappointment, however there's no HITH or MOHP this year amongst much of the stage entertainment too so the other attractions have a lot to live up to. Edit- Preview night I believe is tommorow

Kerfuffle
Chessington have released some sneak peaks of their mazes on Instagram! These actualyl look good! Still sad that HITH is gone. Looking at the video for Curse, I really won't be surprised if they HAVE reused the Mystery soundtrack, considering it's in the video! OldFarmerDean
I'll be there tomorrow! The sneak peak videos Chessington have posted look promising... I'm just hoping the park wide lighting is as good as past years!

Adam P
The park does look really nice in places, Halloween music was playing all day there are more than I've ever seen lights setup so expecting the park to look amazing at night. Here are some pictures before the park gets trashed! http://theme-parks.org/ChessingtonUK/features/halloween-at-chessington/halloween-howloween-2015/ HermanTheGerman and OldFarmerDean
OldFarmerDean
Not for scariness factor... but as general event - chessington howl'o'ween is my favourite! and the news of lot's of lighting again makes me look forward to tomorrow even more! OldFarmerDean
The park is surprisingly busy (well I'm surprised)... The themeing is amazing, and looking at the amount of lights around vampire and black buccaneer area yet again looks ridiculous, can't wait for tonight! The Halloween attractions are decent although the vampire maze and hocus pocus revamp from previous years are in a completely different league, so slightly disappointed in comparison but they're still fun; trick or treat woods should be alright at night with the smoke and lights. dk3
Vampire's running on just one train - so very annoying & disappointing. As said, theming looks good though, so can't wait for darkness.
Glitch
I assume their tomb maze will be like the one a few years ago over in wild asia with the main theme being its low throughput. JoshuaA
JoshuaA
I assume their tomb maze will be like the one a few years ago over in wild asia with the main theme being its low throughput. Isn't that that the whole park's theme? Coaster, Project LC and Glitch
Glitch
It was horrible though, an actor would take you round halve the maze taking 5mins and then come out to collect the next group.
OldFarmerDean
Vampire was on 2 trains earlie alrhough up to a 90minute queue. The tomb maze is running up to 12 people every 2/3 minutes and there really isn't much of a queue (like 10/15 mins max), just done it for the second time. Ian-S
90 minute queue during school time and it's not even half term yet for 98% of Surrey (only the snob schools have had this week off).... oh my.
