Chessington Howl'o'ween

Recommended Posts

The whole thing is something of an admittance that the park's own teams are unable or unwilling to challenge themselves this year.

^ Indeed this.

Nothing to do with budget. Both attractions, and the show were done by a passionate team, that no longer work there. The old manager did some interviews with ScareTour, and demonstrated how detailed and intricate those old mazes were. Something they had difficulty recreating last year too, hence they got cut from this year. Sad times.

Indeed it has. Probably a good job I'm not going now as plans to go that day fell through with this being the last nail in the coffin.

Really really wish they'd stop doing these late minute opening hour cut backs as some people they've got to abruptly change their plans or worse, waste three hours done nothing.

Should be going Saturday hopefully, been wanting to do Chrssington Halloween for years, hopefully won't turn out to be a disappointment, however there's no HITH or MOHP this year amongst much of the stage entertainment too so the other attractions have a lot to live up to.

Edit- Preview night I believe is tommorow

The park does look really nice in places, Halloween music was playing all day there are more than I've ever seen lights setup so expecting the park to look amazing at night. Here are some pictures before the park gets trashed! http://theme-parks.org/ChessingtonUK/features/halloween-at-chessington/halloween-howloween-2015/

The park is surprisingly busy (well I'm surprised)... The themeing is amazing, and looking at the amount of lights around vampire and black buccaneer area yet again looks ridiculous, can't wait for tonight! The Halloween attractions are decent although the vampire maze and hocus pocus revamp from previous years are in a completely different league, so slightly disappointed in comparison but they're still fun; trick or treat woods should be alright at night with the smoke and lights.
