Jamie_Hk
^ I agree with you on people thinking a ride will be "better" or more intense due to the height restriction. I think that Thorpe should have kept the height at 1.2 (I think that's the Euro Fighter height) due to all of the other "big" coasters being that. Thorpe could have done with a ride that shorter people could ride. Just my opinion though. It could be that Thorpe have actually had to make it 1.4, I doubt they'd make it up for the sake of it, still, I totally get what you all mean. RobF
The height restriction is set by the health and saftey executive and the manufacturer not the park itself.

Jamie_Hk
The height restriction is set by the health and saftey executive and the manufacturer not the park itself. That's what I mean, Thorpe have had to make it that cos of health and safety issues. There's a reason why it's 1.4.
NickD
There's a reason why it's 1.4.Sorry, reminded me of "It's 1.4 for a reason"
Jake C
Can anyone read what is says on the sign I would realy like to hear if they have added saw kind of phrasses to it.I also think I'm more looking foward to the sceenery and stuff rather then the actual ride . Sheepie
I can make out "no smoking- those things will kill you," and "not reccomended for expectant mothers- the life inside of you is precious" (not too sure if that's the exact wording but it's too late/ early to worry about it too much, haha). themeparkaddict
This SAW topic is hotting up!!Does anyone else think that the live actors will be behind/out of the queue line for example if you walk through a bathroom and there's a guy on the floor screaming out in pain and warning you to GET OUT, if somewhat jumpily. Or like there's someone with their head in some trap... a strobe flickers as a timer counts down and then cuts out all together and you hear it snap open?Do you think they'll actually be IN the queueline (similar to if they walked up and down the queue like in XNWO and hide and jump out) or whether they'll be beyond whatever fence/railing/divide that's inside. But then it says the 'don't touch the actors'... so maybe they'll be close enough for that to be possible... (or it could just be general signage with live actors). If the actors are AS scary as Jigsaw it'd take some of the credit from Jigsaw... They'll CERTAINLY invoke a real sense of fear. You might have guessed I'm *not* a fan of live actors! Or perhaps... they'll be the victims of traps, like a guy that lays on the floor and you think 'that's just a dead person, I'd better step over him' and he does the typical last minute RARGH. Hopefully there's the whole safety in numbers with the whole section of the queue experiencing the scare together... But then what if there's a Thorpe Park guy batching a set of so many people every now and then into the inside FEAR queue. Bye bye life. Haha. (At least it doesn't say they can touch you or give you a warning about Latex...I think).
Sam P
Will have to wait and find out. I'm getting excited now not long to go.
StevenVig
I can almost guarantee there wont be live actors. Especially in the queue line, there just isn't enough room for actors to run around in the queue, its too narrow. Also Thorpe wouldn't bother as it would probably cost them more to pay the actors. I think it's something they should consider for Fright Nights however.
James
there just isn't enough room for actors to run around in the queue, its too narrowI'm sorry, when did you see inside the building?
themeparkaddict
I can almost guarantee there wont be live actors.Oh but there will There's a sign next to the main ride sign that says "Please be aware that there will be live actors in the queueline today..." ClickyActually IN the queueline, or NEXT to the queueline is to be seen. I want to be scared.. but not that scared.Cleverly that stuff isn't printed on the main board, so I'd imagine they'll just cover it up/remove it when the park is DEAD. Mwahahaha. Dead right.I'll stop with the dead jokes.
James
My eyes are terrible but two things I can make out there..."Strobe lighting effects get used in this attraction"and"Live or die. Make your choice"

TimR
There will be actors they wouldn't be that serious about it on the sign if there wern't, like on the main board there are a few gags but on the sign it says : Please be aware that there will be live actors in the queue line today and any verbal or physical abuse to these actors may result in being escorted from the park, this also may stop people from riding, so to sum up they pretty much definatly will have actors. StevenVig
I stand corrected then. :)But that queueline does look so narrow, and the sign does say that they will be in the queue. Hmm
TimR
I think they will be inside the station building not in the outisde bit but we can not be sure.
hammersley
I think the live actors will be in the gaps in between the queue line and they will be protected by large fences. I assume the actors will be used at weekends and holidays, no other times.
NickD
I'm sorry, when did you see inside the building? Remember James, here at THORPE PARK mania we boast a very high number of young psychics who can see into the future and that know everything! Phyciodes
Has anyone noticed how the timer on the website counts down to 12 AM? It must be counting down to the day of opening rather than the hour of opening.
Mer
Will you not be working at the park or Slammer this year, Michaela? I normally see you operating Vortex, correct? Nice idea Ryan with the police car. Perhaps they could place Jigsaw's tricycle there along with it Yep I worked there in 07 and 08, operated Vortex in 08. I shall be working somewhere else this year though, woop :PNot that there's anything wrong with Thorpe :)Anyway back on topic...
Ricky
Don't you think it would be good if the car stopped at the top momentarely and ust before you drop jigsaw says GAME OVER, I think it would go great with the ride
