Ricky
Not sure, It would be an excuse for the park to not fix them!
Dodge2002
I think they do still work, but they're just not as noticeable because they changed the soundtrack a while back? It was noticable that they were working during frightnights because of the track change I'm sure
Fred
They only played with the dispatch theme, which went through different speakers. Once they put it onto the parkwide loop, it was lost indefinitely. Or at least, that's what I believe was the case. Where's lewis when you need him?! Thats annoying they need to be wired into the park loop then!
Fred
Would be nice. Probably need a clean first though, imagine they're full of dust.
Mer
Or just pigeons in general... They already live in Saw's station building and IU've seen them in Depth Charge too (in the queueline in this small space underneath the slide)! Fred
Surprised they haven't done anything to deal with the pigeons. They're more menacing than the CCTV camera theme. By dealing, I don't mean put up those spikes which attract dust and cobwebs and look crap, I mean by shooting them. pluk
pluk
Another off season TPM meet, annual Thorpe pigeon shoot? Someone get on to whoever it is we talk to, make it happen!
RideAddict
Thats annoying they need to be wired into the park loop then! Knowing Bose's technology, that's probably easier said than done.
Ricky
If someone knows what they are doing its easier done then said
RideAddict
In that case Thorpe are screwed!
AJ
Good news - smoke is now coming out the volcano tops in the queue line - that's been a good few years since I have seen that! So far from what I can see there's lots of minor improvements which make a nice touch BigBobJones
Tom
Volcano is looking horrible. Green and black? But on the plus side new lights and dispatch thene playing, new announcement and new/old station theme!
Dan9
Music in the station is great - dispatch theme is back and in time, and there's red lights over the queue ramp which are either new or just not broken anymore. EDIT: Shut up Tom
Ryan
It's nice to see these extra touches, just hope they actually last this year!
Dan9
Insane tunnel mist today, lights all working too. So much Inferno love going on. Would post pictures but the 'more reply options' button is a lie at the moment. pluk and alexander
EC!
It's amazing that inferno has been with us for 10 years now!
Matt 236
Inferno was the first ride I went on at Thorpe of the tussauds+ era and the first to go upside down on. I can't believe its been there this long now.
RideAddict
Insane tunnel mist today, lights all working too. So much Inferno love going on. Ooh, the red tunnel lights, ain't seen them on in a while! Nemesis is 10 on 4th May - glad to see the entrance has been repainted, it's looked shoddy the last few years. Mattgwise
I still can't see it lasting. Everytime they sort it out everyone gets excited and it Never lasts. A couple of months and most if not all of the misters are broken again. holtjammy16
Ricky
To be fair it's had a fair amount of money spent on it to restore it, I should hope it lasts or someone will be throwing their toys out the pram!
BigBobJones
I guess they have extra cash as they didn't fix the Loggers tunnel
Ricky
To be fair.... it probably would of cost just as much to repair than to remove (if not more). It's not as though every year TP fix the tunnel, there isn't an annual budget for Loggers tunnel, so in fact they spent some of that fixing up budget making something worse... Annoyance. I never did like the smell of the tunnel though.
Matt 236
Can't wait to ride Inferno in the smoke again and the atmospheric dispatch theme playing.
