Benin
Surprised no-one's posted pics of the revamped area yet...Looks bloody awful... BENCHES! BENCHES EVERYWHERE!
th13teen
Not to be critical Benin but the area is full when there is a show on, completely jam packed! I think its great that they are providing such a large area for a show area, this means they have great plans for it because its not cheap, nor is it quick. The annual pass queue was incredibly long at Thorpe Park, but I went to get my one renewed after going on the Swarm, so it was about 12, by that time there was no queue at all!And yeah I was amazed at how easy it was just to talk to him about the things we both love, at such (what feels like) such a down to earth level. He really is a nice guy and as you said, he is very easy to talk to. I wonder how many people come up to him at The Towers

Fred
http://www.chessington.com/tickets/fastrack-tickets.aspxJust looked online, and noticed they decided to remove fastrack on all the small rides which just cannot cope with it.Woo for spending money for no reason last year. Well done whoever's in charge of sales & info there. NickD

Well done whoever's in charge of sales & info there.I don't know about online but they were definitely selling them when I was there last weekend. In fact the new Flying Jumbos location definitely has a fasttrack queue. Obviously just not showing them online.
Fred
Oh that's a shame - I actually thought the park would've dealt with this stupid idea and gotten rid of it.Too much to expect obviously! thorpeparkjack
Tom
Best thing was on trucks where one car is for exit, another for fastback, and then the last 3 for main queue. THROUGHPUT BANTER.

StevenVig
Hey, I'm going Chessington tomorrow with my family, is there anything you'd like me to look out for/take pictures off? Technical Aspects of Madagascar Live, such as the Control Booth, pictures of the lights and any special effects. The Jumbos
Benin
It's weird how there's been no pictures taken of Jumbos yet... Maybe everyone's just so embarrassed about it no-one can bring themselves to photograph it?
Drawin
I'll defernately get pictures of the Jumbos, but I'll have to see on the day if I get spare time to view the Madagascar Live show.
Adam P
They don't look good... Not as bad as the sign on the Jungle Bouncers though, not sure what kinds of guests they are expecting on this one.http://themeuk.net/blog/wp-content/flagallery/changes-at-chessington/p1030920.jpg

Mark9
Its funny how the ride is still called Berry Bouncers on the Q board in Market Sqaure...The fact it still exists and look like that isn't funny, it's just sad..
thorpeparkjack
You honestly wouldn't know the flying jumbos existed if you weren't going to the toliet behind Tomb Blaster, complete joke.
pluk
That looks so shoddy it is laughable. The person that is making these stupid decisions, when do they retire? Someone with some sense needs to take over and save that place. It is being milked, one day soon people will stop coming back because it is all so crap and the spend to get everything decent again will be too high for our short term money men to be willing to fix it. Adam P
It's annoying because the actual Madagascar area and stage is really good, the Jumbos look even more out of place from the Mine Train side as you just see this pink thing from over the fence! Rocket
I'm surprised the fence hasn't been taken down so you can access jumbos from RT and open up the area again, would be better that way'
Mattgwise
As much as I agree the jumbos look awful dont forget the planning application for the africa area went in very last minute, so I believe they ran out of time to retheme them, its not something that can be done in a very short amount of time. Lets just hope they are sent off at the end of the season for a retheme and refurb.

Lets just hope they are sent off at the end of the season for a retheme and refurb. Not good enough. Open it late and put the money forward to retheme it instead of having a Mexican themed ride next to an explosion in a paint factory. If they are going to retheme it at the end of the season anyway, do it now.
HAJiME
I'm glad you can't access it from the mine train. I think its better than I expected where it is. *shrug* Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using Tapatalk
Mattgwise
Very out of place and seems strange accessing it from next to the medical centre. Looks very rushed as on top of the poor state of the ride, they haven't even removed part of the old railway line.
