Greetings all! So I've been a long time lurker on these forums and am currently planning some theme park trips in the Summer for next year and was wondering whether an annual pass would be efficient for my situation. Not really a quick question but from lurking on these forums for so long and from what I've seen you guys are pretty good with questions and I wasn't sure of where else I would post this Okay to the point! Myself and 2 others all above 18 at this point want to visit Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and possibly various other Merlin attractions like the dungeons, legoland, Tussauds etc in the end of June start of July time period and probably various other visits…

Hey everyone :3 I wrote a post here back in summer about the chest restrictions and being a bigger girl I was really worried, I read alot of things of people saying they wear X Y Z clothes size and did or didn't fit in the rides but that wasn't very useful to me so I thought I would write this, its very basically mine and my partners measurements and what was tight and where cuz' I hope it might be useful to other people, I know the test seats are there but the last thing you wanna do sometimes as a bigger girl anyways is use one of them in front of your mates and a load of strangers plus I fit in one of them and then not the ride when I got there so yeh here's my littl…

A friend of mine has BOGOF vouchers that have an exclusion of 'special events'. Would that include fright nights? I've got a feeling this question has cropped up before and the vouchers can be used for fright nights, but does any one know for sure? EDIT - from the horses mouth... no it's not.

Hi guys How many people have got these? I'm going on Sat 2 Nov with a group of us (6) and I'm worried about the 2 hour long queues being half term and the last Saturday fright nights is running. Has anyone been after Halloween is it generally quieter or is it manic? I'm happy to get the directors cut fast track but does it really have to be from 3pm? Was hoping to get there a little later because of getting the fast track lol Also anyone who has had these on a busy night how long did you wait maximum to get on the maze? X Thanks!

Hi, I'm going this Saturday and need to pick up annual pass tickets and fastpasses from the annual pass place and the advanced sales building. What time do these ticket offices open (already got a MAP) and will the park open before 10? Thanks in advance!

Hey, I just bought (off my credit card) a 5 pound ticket for FN on October 12 for me and my friend. I also got us a Director's Cut fastrack ticket each. The time on the Director's Cut is "15:00-15:30"... does this mean we're gonna get on all 4 mazes in half an hour, or the first one starts at 3? There are no other times booked for us, just that one...? Also, do I pick up my MAP holder tickets AND the director's cut fastrack tickets from the Advanced Sales Building or the MAP tickets from the Annual Pass buidling and the Director's Cut from the ASB? Thanks in advance, I really need these questions answered .

This is mostly aimed at people that have worked at TP in Rides & Attractions. What are the best bits/worst bits about the job? Is it fun? Got any pictures? I'd like to see some pics of control panels. I know there's already a post for this, but most of the pics are unavailable. Thanks

Hi guys So my Merlin Annual Pass is up for renewal next month. I found out it will cost £111.something to renew for the year. Now, having had the pass nearly a year I've been to Thorpe about 15 times and once to Chessington. Bit of background - I work during the week and always go to Thorpe then and take a day's holiday as I have a quite a few to use up. I have a little girl who is 2 next month and only 90cm tall and a husband that hates theme parks. This is why I go to Thorpe with a mate during the week when a) its quieter and my little girl is in nursery when I'm at work or taking days off. Now I don't tend to use other London attractiions as I work in London a…

I'm not sure if anyone would know... I got tickets for the summer nights on friday 2nd august, which gates open at 7 and rides 7.30... I am also planning to go in the day, and seen that the park closes at 7. so how do thorpe park know who to let on the rollercoasters after 7.30 etc. if I am already in the park? and as you don't have to pay for parking for the summer event, if I stay there all day and for the summer nights thing I don't have to pay for parking. so confused. any help would be grateful, thanks.

Hey First I'm sorry if this comes off weird or even self centered I just want a better idea then some other forums I've seen where people go " I wear X size clothes and I fit fine " xD Basically I want a kinda honest answer here, my partner and I and some friends wanna go to Thorpe Park in the next coupla of weeks but I am scared my butt aint gonna fit in the rides! It's embarrassing sure but I would rather just straight up ask y'all who have a better idea then me of sizes in the rides, then get there and do dreaded walk of shame if I dont fit! Last time I was at a theme park was about ten years ago and I was a skinny little teen, 2 kids and junk food since I am not…

Hey guys, I am visiting thorpe in 13 days and just have a question about which rides let you take off your shoes etc. I understand that the flat rides like samurai, vortex, rush and detonator allow shoes off but are there any other rides which allow you to do this? Many thanks

Hey guys, so I have a premium annual pass (merlin) and I am taking 2 friends to thorpe park on the second of september. I booked tickets through the family and friends passholder perk, and we bought fastpasses. I wasnt aware that chessington had early ride times, but they bought it up. I now know that both chessington and Alton towrs have ERT, but I was wondering if thorpe park does, and if (through the way I booked the tickets) my friends can have it too? Thanks!
