Hello I'm thinking of buying an Annual pass this year and was wondering how much extra I'll have to pay for the summer nights where the park is open 10am-10pm. Its says in the T&C that there is additional charge but doesn't state how much, would it be the same as Fright nights which is like £5 extra? Thanks Jake

on my recent visits to thorpe park,I noticed some steel rails set into the tarmac to the left of tidal wave. these extend out to the waters edge of tidal wave and look as if they have been broken off,as part of tidal waves theming. the other end of the rails leads to what looks like a turntable, also set into the tarmac, outside what was the wicked witches haunt.they are all visable on google earth.does anyone know what these were for, whether they are just part of the theming of the area or the remains of a defunct ride?cheers

This goes for all Merlin parks in the UK (except Legoland cos it looks like hell on earth). Years ago, when purchasing a ticket, on the reverse side there would be an offer to return to the park the next day at a heavily discounted price, last time I went it was like a fiver to return the next day. Does this offer still exist? I was planning of making a trip to Alton Towers at some point by buying a ticket on the day and then using Bounceback but I am unaware if the Bounceback offer even exists anymore.

I have decided to start with a monthly annual pass as think this is a great idea to help split the cost over the year. I remember them running a similar scheme before but sadly it stopped very suddenly. Anyway my question for you guys is is there anybody who had a monthly one before and did they let you continue this even after it was no longer publicly available or were you then sent back to buy full priced ones?

Hey am back and ready to help! I was at thorpe park yesterday 6th May and noticed that a lot of the surfaces in the rumba rapids queue line had been sandpapered down or repainted. They have gone kind of a grey colour? Thoughts, answers?

Hey everyone, I'm visiting Thorpe Park for the very first time on saturday 8th July. As I'm travelling such a long way I want to make sure I get everythimg done so I'm curious of how long the queue times will approximately be for that time of year and how I should make my way around the park to avoid long queues. Any other tips would be much appreciated aswell, thank you. :-)

Hey guys and gals... regular lurker, rare poster here. Next Wednesday I will be riding stealth non stop for the entirety of the day (apart from a loo break) as a fundraising event for Merlin's Magic Wand. As a (very) few of you may know I am a current rides and attractions staff member at the park, and I have already seen some of the amazing work the charity do for children with serious illnesses and disabilities. The difference the charity makes to these kids is life-changing and something I would love to help with. I have set up a just giving page for the event and it would be absolutely fantastic if any of you are able to donate/ sponsor me. I can alread…

Hey guys, just signed up to the forum as I'm going to thorpe park for the first time tomorrow. I've been waiting to go since I was young but finally saved up enough and got a car to go. My main question is whats the best plan of attack for ensuring I get on all the main rides, as in what order should I do them in? When I go to Alton Towers, I know the place like the back of my hand and know where to start and sort of make a loop round? I'll be there from opening till closing but yea, any feedback of which way to do it or whats really good to try would be appriciated. Thanks James

Hi, I've booked a 4 day stay at the Shark Hotel (Wednesday to Saturday). We don't plan on using the theme park on the Wednesday, but would like to use it Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Our Hotel Stay Package only includes 2 days in the theme park - I've contacted thorpebreaks and Thorpe's Facebook page and asked them if we have to purchase additional days separately and they both advised that we do, either online or when we arrive at the park. From memory, last time we were there the entrance to the hotel is inside the park, so how do they know which days we want to use the theme park - or has this changed this year and there's now ticket barriers betw…

Sooo, whilst I appreciate the Great British Weather (or should I say, the Great British Weather Forecast People) is/are forever changing their minds; the forecast for this weekend is looking pretty abysmal. Phone app was predicting high winds, MetOffice is predicting snow showers... I've been on park before when the bad weather policy has been in place, and literally nothing was running (quantum was the only open ride I could be bothered with, and we already know that will not be running this weekend, weather permitting or not). If the weather is that bad this weekend, what will they do? Just activate the policy, reschedule etc.? Something tells m…

Hello everyone I have recently been offered an audition to be one of the actors for fright nights at Thorpe Park. Has anyone done these auditions? If so, can you give me some information about the whole process and how it works? I would really appreciate some information about it, as I have been looking for hours on the internet and I can't find anything! Thank you!
