  1. Started by gabbygrace,

Are Thorpe continuing with the guarantee this year? They have a page on the website but all the dates refer to last year..... I ask because I'm going this Monday and the forecast isn't great :/

  2. Started by tropicalbowl,

I'm really wary of leaving my bag in theme parks whilst on ride. It's okay when they have wristbands and lockers to pickup your stuff at the end, but for some rides, you just chuck your possessions in a box. If I wore a bum bag (The fitted ones round the hip) would I still be asked to take it off on rides or would I be able to get away with it?

First time post! I am coming down from birmingham next Monday to TP and was just looking at the weather which doesn't look too good - scattered thunderstorms etc. Will this/heavy rain affect many rides? or would they just be closed during and thunderous periods? Don't want to miss out on The Swarm. Just trying to decide whether or not it will be worth going. Thanks for your advice!

  6. Hey guys, I am visiting thorpe in 13 days and just have a question about which rides let you take off your shoes etc. I understand that the flat rides like samurai, vortex, rush and detonator allow shoes off but are there any other rides which allow you to do this? Many thanks

  12. Okay, I realised I typed slightly too quickly and mods tried to fix it and it sounded strange. Heres the question agian edited. If you've been on X:\ you'll know that if you look closely into the centre of the enclosure while riding, you can see what looks like rollercoaster cars covered in web? Strange? Can anyone shed some light?Cheers

  13. Hello I'm thinking of buying an Annual pass this year and was wondering how much extra I'll have to pay for the summer nights where the park is open 10am-10pm. Its says in the T&C that there is additional charge but doesn't state how much, would it be the same as Fright nights which is like £5 extra? Thanks Jake

  17. Started by RideSlayer,

Hello everyone, Was hoping for some help as me and my friends are planning a little trip down to London/Surrey just to go to Thorpe Park. We are staying for one night and so we will have some small luggage, was just wondering if there is anywhere in the park we could leave this safely as it would be a lot of hassle to carry around and I doubt it would fit in lockers. We could proably fit everyones stuff into 2 small suitcases. Any ideas and how much it will cost? Thanks in advance!

  19. Hi, Sorry if this has been asked previously. I am booked to go to Thorpe Park next Tuesday and really want to ride Darren Brown again and do the Black Mirror maze. I am wondering where these tickets need to be booked as the website doesn't seem to say. This will be this first time I've had to navigate the park by myself and am super bad with directions so if anyone could explain exactly where in the park to book the tickets that would be excellent!

Maybe it's better to go on Sunday, for example? I want to wait the less ques as possible. Thank you very much.

  24. I was at Thorpe with my mates and during around 5 30 the swarm was going up the lift hill, and stopped right before the first drop. I know this could be because a cart went slowly, but did anyone go there and see it or am I the only one

  25. So today I was remembering doing face it alone. Doing so made me think of one question and I apologise if it was already discussed. Why did Thorpe do away with it?? If its what I think it is in regards to it being "too extreme" then frankly I think that's ridiculous. Those who participated in it knew what they was getting themself in for given they had to sign a disclaimer which explained clear as crystal what was about to occur aswell as being told at the time of purchasing the tickets exactly what was about to happen. If it's because people complained then I personally feel that they should be more concerned with reading a disclaimer properly before signing …
