Luke_A
Tripsdrill's new Gerstlauer launched coaster 'KARACHO' is looking mighty fine! The coaster has been marketed as having the lap-bar trains and features a rolling LSM launch. All images thanks to Coasterfriends.de. Looks like a nice layout, and damn, it looks like it will have some good spots of airtime... And whilst I mention that, I really think that Gerstlauer could build a really good twisty hyper coaster sometime with nothing but a range of ejector hills and curvy twists and possibly a beyond vertical drop with the vertical lift too. On all of their coasters that I've ridden, the spots of airtime combined with the dinky little trains always end up being my favourite parts of their coaster designs. pluk
This does look great, and this makes it look even better... Lapbars! The superior restraint method. I don't know how accurate this is but it should be a pretty decent fun ride EC!
Benin
Yay lapbars! Yay rolling launch! Boo crap looking trains...
coastercameron98
Those lap bars remind me of the ones on a B&M hyper coaster (the clam shell I think they are called??) they remind me of the ones on Nitro. The lap bars on here don't look anything like the ones used on Iron Shark which I would have expected

pluk
Boo crap looking trains... Rather good looking trains I think. I imagine the jets will light up as it launches, nice touch.
Mark9
Sexual trains that have fantastic curves. I want to touch them.. Oh sorry, I don't know what came over me.
Benin
Looking at the trains more... Great concept, bad execution... Biege? </3 Everyone and their dog are putting lights on coasters now though...

EC!
I think it looks mighty fine, will be fun to compare these to the other Gerst launch coasters!
pluk
Has been testing, clip that unfortunately has some really really bad music...
EC!
I'm sure it will be faster when it opens, probably on those testing wheels, looks awesome, although from the testing video above the train looks odd but atleast its different! Coaster
Looks quite forceless in that video, but I'm sure it will speed up with the addition of people and proper wheels etc...
Mitchada04
You've also got to take into account how it starts on the MCBR with no speed where as during normal operation (I presume) it will be rolling through there thus carrying more speed. JoshC.
Can't really judge a lot from it, due to all the reasons above, but I do like the look of the car going round the track. Looks lovely.
Benin
That's my "ride looks slow in testing video" box ticked then in new coaster bingo... Ryan

James_C
Has been testing, clip that unfortunately has some really really bad music... The trains look ugly as "The Curse's" tent during fright nights!
Mitchada04
Each train is a different colour. We have the car we've all seen many times. The green car Red car (my favourite) The blue car which wants a race with the red car... I think red won. Love the colour of the track. All photos from Tripsdrill's FB page. planenut
whoops, the trains look like a cross between Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the Millenium Falcon; short ride lots of turns, hmmm!
Benin
Have a POV! It is, unfinished like most things seem to be when it comes to Tripsdrill (Mammut was unfinished when it opened, then had additional stuff added since)... Looks a decent ride though regardless... EC!
That actually looks really fun, lets hope it looks nicer when they do finish it all up
pluk
Looks very good, especially the rolling launch. Shame we haven't seen one of these in the UK yet.
BenC
Shame we haven't seen one of these in the UK yet. Â Having recently visited Tripsdrill (trip report here), I couldn't agree more! Â tl;dr: it's a really lovely place, and Karacho is a stand-out ride. Â More Infinity coasters with clamshell restraints, please...
