JohnnyRocket Posted August 16, 2023 Report Share Posted August 16, 2023 There's definitely enough signs of it being Egyptian themed but I don't know why, I still can't see them going for it, just doesn't feel very 'Thorpe' to me but then I couldn't really tell you what a Thorpe kinda theme is other than abandoned and 'lost' - Egyptian's a bit too on the nose. I guess in the same way I've always thought Katanga Canyon doesn't really fit in with the wider Alton Towers sinister/dark/spooky theme. But yeah it's probs gonna be Egyptian! Hyperion has a drop of 269ft and speed of 88mph and Shambhala has a drop of 256ft and reaches 83.3mph so I think it's possible. Might also have a relatively fast lift hill. The steeper drop of exodus will decrease the resistance ratio and I believe the Mack lift will mean it’s a good 1 or 2 mph faster over the top.
