EC!
I wonder if it will be just a regular Zamperla Disk'O or the Disk'O Coaster version?

Kerfuffle
With LEGOLAND's Star Wars weekend officially underway, I can safely declare my opinion for it after today. All in all, a fantastic move by Merlin. Both LEGO and Star Wars are very popular IPs for kids...so made a great combination! The first quarter of my shift was spent in The Beginning, which included the hour before park opening. Even before the guests were let in, the atmosphere was fantastic! Star Wars characters as far as the eye can see (with VERY detailed costumes, complete with voice/sound effects) were roving the area (which made it very crowded once the guests were in), ranging from Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers to Sand People, Chewbacca, Jawas...and R2-D2! The interactivity between the guests and the characters was phenomenal...but I can safely say that this included the STAFF...considering I had a Jawa take my brush off me and run around with it, much to the hilarity of both me and the guests at the turnstiles! (I even noticed a Jawa and some Stormtroopers taking a selfie with someone's phone) But besides the periodic appearances of characters parkwide, there were other activities and takeovers available. Jedi Training in Miniland and the transformation of the Enchanted Forest into Ewok Forest for instance (Yes. Ewok Forest. Not Endor. ) pluk
pognoi
Can I just ask to what point to Legoland enforce the age rules? '"Our policy [is] not to permit entry to groups of adults, adult couples, or lone adults, regardless of circumstances, who are not accompanied by a child or children under the age of 16".' I have a cousin from Australia whos been looking to go since she heard of it, but she is 19. I'm 17. Will we be turned away, or are they not so much by the book? (it'll probably be just us 2)

(it'll probably be just us 2) As far as I'm aware, there are no restrictions when it comes to age groups at the park. I've been there many times with people over the the 16 age group (whilst none are within that bracket) and I've been able to get in to the park hassle free. It's not like Gullivers which is very difficult to visit without children and if you they are a little OTT about it (so I've heard)
Benin
Never been turned away by Lego, I think it's just as long as you don't take the proverbial piss around the park and bear that it is for kids... Otherwise they will throw you out... Gullivers refuse you point blank unless you have a kid, or have emailed in advance about it... And even then you get an escort around like a dirty person... CWOAfanMalcolm
I never knew legoland had that rule I know Lego land discovery centre has a strict no adult policy but I don't see why they need it at Legoland anyway I visited last Christmas and was admitted and Last march with a group of friends all 15 and 16 and apart from a one staff member who just looked a little worried We had no Problem although one staff member did ask us why were we not at Thorpe park? LOL Tbh I can see the rule for lone adults however For groups of responsible adults who just want to enjoy the park I think it is completly stupid! Quite apart from the fact I've paid on my merlin annual pass for a year's admission to legoland And If I was Refused admission I would be rather annoyed! Sadly we live in a post-Saville era now where any adult loitering near kids on their own is labelled without any shred of common sense being used. They are probably more concerned about the 40+ age group than late teens though.
Paul2014
Think someone has got confused with Discovery Centre, Theme park makes no mention of this on the website.
pognoi
I was just reading some articles in a local paper and found a couple with different legolands involved and I was worried that I wouldn't be permitted access. Thanks anyway.
Matt 236
No you should be fine hopefully. On another note, Lego Friends area is opening this weekend which is replacing Lego City along with the new disko coaster which is the best thing about the new area by a counteymile. Any word yet on the haunted house appeal yet as this ride needs to happen for the sake of throughputs, immersive experiences and major park rides. Jammy3112
I'm 23 and my mate is 20. We went recently with no real issue. We were welcomed by the staff just as any guest is, and we honestly had a great time here. We were there to enjoy the park, and that was that. Matt 236
For those wondering what replaced the original Xbox game bit in the park, a new walk through attraction called Olivia's House replaced it. It's not a bad little attraction and features soon cool models and interactive features. Not a patch on the old Magic Theatre but somewhere worth visiting to pass the time for a few minutes if your in the area.
