kinnaird
Hmph. Well to be fair, Thorpe handled it well- it's all nearly out though thank goodness! how did they handle it well? free fast track ? and I think the exit is a massive let down hate them cement stairs at least have it indoors to keep the theme going to the orp booth

Kerfuffle
I'd say the volcano itself really does need sorting out! Correct me if I'm wrong but would you say that most of the "volcano" is basically SHED? *glares at the tunnel exit area and around the back*
Whatever
They should TOTALLY use fire, but then there are so many athsmatics it could make the first aid room a heck of a lot busier. Kerfuffle
Kerfuffle
...unless the whole thing blows up in a violent systems malfunction!  it could make the first aid room a heck of a lot busier.  ...oh wait that's a WHOLE lot worse! *facepalm*
Whatever
...unless the whole thing blows up in a violent systems malfunction! Â ...oh wait that's WORSE *facepalm* But then it would look like a real volcano! I'm suprised in the Inferno shop that they don't sell those wacky science volcano kits for kids with baking powder and vinegar. That could be cool. Whatever
CALYPSO QUAY EXPLORERS CLUB APPROVED KITS OH MY GOD AMAZING IDEA! Comes with a polyester explorer hat, a fake compass, and a whole load of other useless plastic junk! Lovingly machine-made in Taiwan. Whatever
Yep. Or if they want to save money they can just put a different logo on some of the Zufari merch (The toy truck, plastic animals etc)
Olistjj
Anyone else noticed in the queue at the bottom of the stairs where the fastrack joins the normal queue the base of the 'volcano' has been burrowed into and now has a big gaping hole in it? Its gotten bigger since the beginning of the year! paige
c1hrisin
Thats either a good sign that they are planning something or they have just left it do be destroyed and will probably so a crappy job or repairing it with some sheet wood or something
Kerfuffle
...or maybe it's just an EXTREMELY cheap way of making it as if the Nemesis monster burrowed it's way in!
Altitude
Or lets be realistic, some chav wasn't happy with his Gregg's Steak Bake the day before and decided to kick the volcano in? Sounds the most likely to be honest. Kerfuffle
paige
If I'm thinking about the same thing everyone else is thinking about, it's beyond the queueline fence and there's a bit of a slope to get down to it, so it's unlikely to be *intentional* vandalism(although an angry and hungry chav is a force to be reckoned with). I've noticed it during every visit this season and I thought it was decay or something - although I haven't really seen the hole grow in size- as I couldn't spot any bits from the volcano lying around, and it seemed like an odd shape and place to cut a piece from; it's rather noticable and it looks like a 'natural' shape. Don't see how a gaping hole at the bottom can be an indication of some sort of improvement or restoration work. Sorry

Marc
For it to be maintained, kept in an acceptable condition and not rotting. It's not rotting. A small bit of earth has given way leaving a bit of a hole.. I'm sure the weather don't help and I'm sure it won't be difficult to fix either! Kerfuffle
*NEWS JUST IN* Â Reports show that members of the Calypso Quay Explorers Club are being rapidly escorted from the area. It is believed that a troop of heavily-armed men in black uniform, known to many as 'Phalanx', have closed off the surrounding area to 'Mt Nemesis' for further investigations regarding a huge hole in the side of the volcano... Â EDIT: Amazingly, a single mysterious egg has just been removed from the hole. Is this volcano, so called 'Mt Nemesis', beginning to show increasing signs of life unknown to science?
