Mark9
Really it being on 1 train is to add to the very long list of things merlin do wrong. If the sole purpose for the 3rd train is to have a train always in strip down seems very odd and raises questions in why not just make more room. Really I'm making a lot of fuss over nothing I'm just fed up of 2nd best all the time. Merlin have nothing to do with the maintenance regimes on Stealth. pluk
Stealth.. has three trains... so decides to run rotating maintenance so only 2 are ever available. Other coasters.. have two trains... so do maintenance of both trains over winter. Tell me what the point in having 3 trains on Stealth is? Cos they've obviously completely lost the plot here (then again, this is the park which loves to run one train until they absolutely need to run two on everything anyway). Exactly this. It is possible to fully service all three trains over closed season, and in the early years I'm certain they did. The limiting factor is not space, it is not time, it is resources. Clearly there's not enough of them to get what should be done done.
Project LC
Merlin have nothing to do with the maintenance regimes on Stealth. Your telling me that the company that owns and operates the park have no say in how the park operates. That sounds stupid and yet highly plausible. JoshC.
Merlin won't dictate to the park's how to carry out maintenance though. I doubt many people at the heart of Merlin have enough knowledge to say 'Your maintenance schedule should go like this and that'.
Project LC
I know that merlin wont be guiding the park to the letter but I'm sure that if they wanted to they could.
Mr. Fish
Your telling me that the company that owns and operates the park have no say in how the park operates. That sounds stupid and yet highly plausible. Everything they do have to go thought intamin and they also constantly monitor the ride for any problems ect so they do have very little say in what happens
Flipper
I CAME IN LIKE A WRECKING BALL! Contrary to what I said yesterday or whenever. Went on Stealth today with Han. And I don't think she noticed, but *a second train* I don't know what number was out on the transfer, like fully out, as if it was ready to be put to use; and then in the afternoon it had been rolled to just poke its nose out of the workshop. So another train is around. But if it can run or not, is yet to be seen.
Project LC
The 2nd train can move as on sunday we saw it roll out of the shed for a bit for it to return back to the shed.

Mark9
Great work Thorpe. For the kicking the park got for this, at least the problem of one Train operation has been quickly resolved. Matt 236, JoshC., pognoi and 1 other
Coaster
Yeah it's good, but I'm not sure why we were told "for the forseeable future" when it was just a few days. Either way, well done Thorpe! Cal
JoshC.
^It was a member on the forum who said that, not Thorpe. Unless something like that is said by Thorpe, don't treat it as 100% fact - even the most reliable members get the occasional thing wrong / aren't always in the loop. But yeah, it's great Thorpe got this issue sorted so quickly. One wonders how long we'd have been waiting if this happened 6-7 years ago... thorpeparkjunkie
I was just wondering your guys opinions on this, on wikipedia stealth is considered to be a hypercoaster however I thought the requirements were that a coaster has to have a chain lift in order to be classed as a hypercoaster would you class it as one? I'd love it to be classed as one as it be cool to say I have ridden one thank you!
pognoi
'a roller coaster that goes up 200 feet or higher and can catapult riders from 0 to 70 mph in 4 seconds by motors originally designed to launch rockets' It doesn't have to be on a chain, infact here it actually suggests it's supposed to be launched. Stealth scrapes it though, only a person's height into the catergory, haha. adam_sparks1
Has anyone got a play list or list of all the songs played around Stealth and all of Amity Cove. I believe it's all 50-60 music, but does anyone have a whole play list or list of songs.
