Ian-S
I think what he's saying is knowing Thorpe's target audience and the type of clientele that attracts, there's bound to be someone who has seen the many facebook posts about it and made the trip banking on free return tickets who'll now bitch about not getting them. Funny story a friend went last week specifically to ride DBGT and Stealth (totally ignoring me when I told them both were closed), so around 6pm he puts up a post on Facebook of the letters they were giving out and proudly says what a stand up job they've done, so I jokingly replied 'hope you stopped off at advanced ticket collections to get them' to which I got replied to with 'of course I did, I'm not stupid'. That was just after his phone had 'checked in' at Ripley Services. 30 minutes later his phone checks him in at 'Thorpe Park'.... chrisgeorgiou46
JoshC.
Though nothing major, some areas around the station, bag room and photo point have seen a new lick of paint whilst the ride was closed. Obviously this is something that should be done as standard anyway, but reckon it's something worth noting, since some people would no doubt overlook it.. Matt10
Does anyone know how it's operations have been since its now back open, as well as if its suffered anymore down-time?
Marc
Trans we're going out like anythig yesterday - train was ready to Go as people were getting out the train behind - didn't see any down time
planenut
Went to TP today, first time since Stealth was resurrected last Thursday. It broke down today, eight times, once for nigh on an hour. At least I had time to take refreshment.

Good stuff I'm surprised a ThorpeLovingCare Twitter hasn't surfaced yet - it might have to if they don't sort DBGT soon
Matt10
Stealth is again having problems related to the block section, as it stopped round on the traction wheels multiple times, similar to the beginning of the year.
Matt A
Ran flawlessly today, had the shortest queue of all the roller coasters and was being loaded and dispatched very efficiently each time

planenut
Went for Monday, 10a.m. to 10p.m., Stealth (only on one train all day) was launched 285 times, and no failures. One hiccup needed a test run. I had a few rides.Nice to see some members on it too.

planenut
A woman said to me yesterday "I've seen you ride this four times, that could seriously damage your brain!" How late can somebody be?
Charlesberg
What a year it has been for this ride! Being its 10th anniversary, followed by being closed for over a month with multiple downtime moments beforehand. Except on reopening, roaring back to life and taking the spot of my favourite coaster at Thorpe Park. I even rode it 10 times in one day this September, queuing 30 mins for a total of 6 times (the first 4 rides at the beginning of the day were walk ons). Just hearing about the TVs testing makes me feel even more hopeful for this ride next year. Josh3103
planenut
Speaking to the engineering team, and luckily for me, they confirm that we will have at least another ten years of it, the ride that is. The work done on the catch car has actually created a stronger unit than it was originally. Hopefully next year the now planned modifications will not interfere with the season. Nice to see them working and great to see further improvements being made, but hope they are on mute next season if they decide to use them, it used to really interfere with the soundtracks when they used to get used and music such as adagio for strings kept blasting out of them meaning the soundtracks couldn't be used. planenut
Though it's nice to have effects working each time, since they changed the countdown intro for Stealth, the smoke from the "squeeling tyres" doesn't work ,and I have heard many people comment that it worried them when not seeming to have a relevence.
