JoshC.
Actually, SAW was running on 8 cars at points of the day and it did have some mini-breakdowns throughout the day.
Lordcutter6
Saw was back on 6 cars today and I dont think I ever saw a breakdown.I guess that 6 cars are used on weekdays, for not so many guests, but at weekends when it busy they need 8. Like you said, it was only 10 -30 mins today? That not long so not 8 required.
subculturehero
It only broke down for 10 minutes tops, to be fair. But it did happen 'cos I was on it!
Ricky
The DVD's arnt repeated all day long, last weekend I saw my friends one on there just after the ride.
Mer
And the DVDs would be good if they actually let you see your own ride! They just looped the same samplers of DVD rides all day, which I assume lost them quite a few potential DVD customers! But some people might then watch their DVD, be like "that was good" and not buy it, therefore they would lose buyers. And also can you imagine what it would be like with people standing there for 2 minutes all trying to watch their DVDs? It's crowded enough as it is
subculturehero
That really makes very very little sense - would you really pay £12 for something that you weren't even sure you'd want?
JackDee
I'm going to Thorpe again on Thursday and I was planning on getting the onride DVD, was just wondering which format the DVD's come in?

Dan9
Only a small portion of you on the ride is shown on the screens (lift hill and drop). So they aren't really losing buyers.

You can always like slow it down in WMM, and I love the way it plays like a mix of different clips at the beginning lol.

This is a problem that the park and Picsolve are having - a bit like adjustment issues. They do show at normal time, but some DVDs do have this problem. I'd suggest that anyone inquires about the issue before buying the DVD, thus if the problem does occur, they will know what happens.
Marc
No DVD's are sped up, its just the way youtube deals with them certain ways of uploading etc.
StevenVig
But not all of the onride videos are sped up only a select few.
Calum
But not all of the onride videos are sped up only a select few.it is only sped up if you upload the VOB file which is directly from the disc instead of importing into a vid editor and exporting
subculturehero
Not sure if this has been discussed already, but what's the deal with the green lights on the back of the seats?
A-Kid
^Those lights tell us if the restraint is open/closed far enough.
Paul
^Those lights tell us if the restraint is open/closed far enough. It's exactly the same principal as the 4 green lights on each arm of Vortex.
JoshC.
I do love how the lights go out as you leave the station - adding to the experience a bit more, feeling a bit unsafe when you see them...

Lordcutter6
People were in Fastrack que today, but they all had Priority Passes, not sure if Fastrack I probably wrong. It was coming out of fastrack entrance. It probably took 30 mins longer then SRQ. It did brake down today for about 1-2 hours, but when opened again ques went down a lot.
