jjh123horry
When you are going round you can barely see the rooms and the scenes that they are trying to depict. It really is such a shame. The amount of detail that has gone into the rooms, it really is a shame to hide it all.
Dan
I agree it needs to have a bit more light in there , it's hot such a nice layout inside which needs to be shown more and it might be a bit more popular on here it seems to be not very popular for some reason :/
Mr.man
Couldnt they put a luminous yellow line on the floor to follow or something?
Dodge2002
I really tried to stay positive about this maze, the attention to detail and likeness of the movies in regards to the scenery was top notchBut I gave up all hope after my visit on Friday after one of the actors saidIn a "creepy" cockney accent "Roll up, Roll up! This way!"When has anyone EVER said ANYTHING even remotely like that in a Saw film? It just made me realise these actors aren't given any sort of direction on how to act to make this a great horror film based maze. It's such a shame to see all this Saw theming wasted. holtjammy16
^ Haha, some of the things actors come out with really are quite off topic.e.g. 'Where's your tickle button? Is this your tickle button?'
JackR
One of them was shouting 'COME AT ME! COME ON THEN!' in the first room and started jumping and kicking the wall last time I went in....
Ryan
Was very intense yesterday, swat room actor turning every other person in the group backwards so they had to be guided through the maze by the person in front of them. An actor also put his hand around my throat and told me he was going to keep me, good stuff!
Sheepie
I'd just like to pass on the experience a friend of mine had in this maze on Sunday. So they're going through the maze and then they walk into a scene where two actors are talking to each other, out of character and also, one of them is on their phone. As though embarrassed, the actor on their phone rips my friend from his group, pushes him around, saying he should have a sense of humour as it's the last day. They push him through staff areas, into other actors, they make him go back and do scenes again, he got knocked to the floor and repetitively told that he should have a sense of humour. He was in there for an extra 10 minutes.Sounds like they took things way too far, the actors in question should never have been employed to work there and I hope they never work in something like that ever again. My friend was in tears by the end of it.

Something really should be done about that, that is something that the park really needs to be made aware of!I for one, if that happened to me, would be making sure that something got done about it. I mean that borderlines on harassment, maybe I'm over reacting, but I'm sure the press would love this!
Deleted Users
The actors were garbage on Sunday. Most just hid around corners and did a pathetic scream and the rest you could see a mile off. The 4th room had no smoke and the chains were missing. The only decent room was the last one which was nearly pitch black apart from when the gun went off.

Ricky
The attraction will be operational on a Fri-Sun basis from Saturday March 24th. Until the 24th, it will remain closed.
pluk
From the reports it seems half the seasons actor budgets have been spent on Swarm launch. Shame.

StevenVig
Would prefer actors around Swarm than some really crap maze tie-in...Amen to that, and what a remarkable job they were doing too. It's official too, Saw Alive is sinking! YAY! It's lopsided to the left
Ricky
Luckily, in the knee deep part of the lake it's in, it's on stilts.
pluk
Would prefer actors around Swarm than some really crap maze tie-in...TBH, so would I, but I thought these were there at the mo as part of the special opening events and wouldn't remain when us commoners are allowed in? Would love it if they stayed.
Deleted Users
I think they are part of Premiere Screaming so guaranteed from Thursday until Sunday in some form.
Dodge2002
I wonder if they bothered to hire new directors this year.Surely if they know their jobs are potentially being threatened they'll give it their all this year?I think The SWARM actors kind of prove, the acting is good, but the people giving directions are just awful at their jobs to put it blunt...It's clear that ever since Saw Alive appeared, they've been using some of the same people. I haven't had a good scare in any of their mazes since fright nights of 09. And it kind of sickens me that these guys are probably getting paid more than any other FOH job in the park. I hate to say it but I just envisage the entire directorial team behind Saw Alive as a bunch of campy drama lovies that don't have a clue... BlackFlames
I love the Saw movies but this was a disapointment. This funhouse needs to be removed to make room for something decent.
MattyMoo
When does the SAW IP end? Will SAW Alive be back in 2013? Doesn't bode well with selected opening, but as has been said, the quality of actors/scares in the maze varied wildly with it being open "24/7"... maybe the area will have a flat ride once "SAW" leaves Thorpe Park? Mitchada04
For anyone who actually would like to go on Saw Alive this year, the opening dates and times can be found here.http://www.thorpepark.com/rides/saw-alive.aspx
Topsyturvy15
Yeah I would! Admittedly it does get a bit old but I still think it is a good addition to the park, instead of it being removed perhaps just a rebranding might be needed in a few years, perhaps a swarm maze perhaps? Ryan
It was pretty good in all 3 of my visits today, police officer from first room put a gun to my head! Lots of smoke and actors were good/in different positions to last year making it nice and fresh.
