Emma1980
So on the preview night which starts at 6.30pm those rides would have already shut.... Lucky I'm going up for 4pm then lol

SteveJ
Well it probably looks nothing like that, it's hard to make out through that filter. Plus it's not too hard to do basic set design like that. Seems promising though... yayay! Not long now... I really am hopeful of this being the best Fright Nights event for a long time. Mitchada04
This was taken by Themeuk earlier today so the detail is very good!
Coaster
It looks better without the stupid editing Can't wait now! One thing though - the description says they you'll enter the hospital first so why does it look like a mine tunnel at the entrance? RubyRed95
Just something rather interesting I discovered. On Thorpe's twitter they mentioned that Neptune's beach had been drained specifically for fright nights... What would be the point in the post if nothing was going there? Probably nothing will happen, but just an observation... FrightNights04
Altitude
^ Would be a hilarious place for a scare zone. Running around being chased by monsters on a fake beach.
Ben1990
Might have already been discussed but I'm pretty sure the Blair Witch Scare Zone will be behind the service road, at the back of NI, with a possible entrance being next to the smaller Burger King. Lots of activity around there today. Will be interesting to see how they facilitate getting people across the service road constantly though? Fred
8-9pm – select rides close depending on demandFright Night open hours. Waaaaaaaaaait. Is this a typo, or are rides closing an hour earlier than originally (I swear it was 9pm ride close, 10pm if busy?)
Marc
From what I understand is between 8 and 9 select rides will close, I expect the major ones will stay open till 10 although I maybe wrong!
Fred
Oh... so ride close is essentially 2hrs earlier than a couple of years ago. Plus a few rides closing at 5pm, including ones which didn't used to beforehand. So, mazes after 8pm or nothing on a quiet day then? Yay. Ecstatic. Dan9
I'd be amazed if any major/thrill rides started closing at 8pm. I'd assume if it's very quiet at that point rides like Tidal Wave, Storm Surge, Zodiac, Flying Fish etc. may close at around 9pm. c1hrisin
Fred
I'm impressed that this hasn't really gained any sort of attention. Rides, regardless of what rides, are closing earlier and earlier every year. Brilliant.
Coaster
I must admit that I really think that this is going to ruin the event. We are already a maze down on last year - and whilst the closing time last year was 9pm, that was everything. With rides closing at 5pm this year (earlier than a normal weekend closing time at a fright NIGHT!) and another load at 8 - 9pm we aren't going to know where we are in terms of rides still open and the queues are going to be horrific. The mazes are already going to have longer queues due to there being less, but with lots of rides closed it will just be horrendous. Not only this, but we are also losing out on experiences such as Loggers on the dark...
Marc
The rides closing at 5 will make next to no difference to queues on park, they are so quiet the effects will be minimal. And regarding being a maze down I can't see making a difference, the Passing was such low throughout anyway replacing that with a higher throughout attraction it's self will only help, along with a scare zone which again should be a reasonable throughput. By select rides closing between 8 and 9 they don't mean the whole park.. I assume it will be the rides sat their empty.. I expect the majority of the thrill rides will close at 10. Altitude
I really don't see the big deal. If you think it's going to "ruin the event", do us all a favour and stay and home. I don't need the extra queue! OldFarmerDean and FrightNights04
