paige
Wow and I thought Thorpe had tight planning permissions But it does look pretty good tbh. If they actually turn out like those picture then it'll be a great addition to the park.
Matt 236
Looks brilliant IMO Hoping the final result looks as nice as those pictures, this appears to be a fantastic place to stay over at in towers and a great alternative to the other hotels. Definitely more excited by this than CBeebies land () Cal
Popular Post pluk
If it ends up looking anything like that I'll eat Twirling Toadstall. Kerfuffle, Luke_A, Cal and 7 others
Doc
Fantastic concept art. I hope the final outcome will be as interesting and detailed as the pictures show.
Sidders
So the hobbit houses are a no-go? Have I missed something....? I thought they resubmitted those plans?
JoshC.
So the hobbit houses are a no-go? Have I missed something....? I thought they resubmitted those plans? They didn't resubmit them, they altered them. There's still lodge houses (less of them), but then there's also the treehouses. The lodges do seem less Hobbit-like though. Benin
Probably cheaper to build 'proper' buildings really... Not too fussed over the 'normal' lodge building over hobbit holes tbh...

jom222
On Alton Towers snapchat they have been putting pictures of a preview building of the Enchanted Village thats opening next year. I will put pictures up later if I have time. I don't think anyone else has said about this yet, I can't see it anywhere.
JoshC.
Couple of pictures from inside the preview room, as uploaded by Towers' Facebook... There's more, but they more show the exterior.
Benin
Looks a wee bit cramped, though probably no more than the normal hotel rooms are to be fair to it... S'ok, but nothing special tbh...

Matt 236
Not bad, not bad at all Can't say I'm blown away by it, but then this only the showcase version. Looks rather simplistic ATM, but hopefully we'll see ore details when they're actually finished.
Fred
They're missing a couple of items. Other than that, they're pretty much complete. These were meant to be entry level (so cheaper than Splash) when planned so don't expect the earth - but in my personal view they're better than Splash! pluk
Thought I saw some construction pics of this pop up on my facebook the other day but can't seem to see them now, did I imagine it or has anyone else seen any progress? Also, competition here to stay in the Enchanted Village when it opens.
JoshC.
A nice aerial photo of the construction site as it stands, from Tatenhill Aviation's Facebook...
Kerfuffle
Yep. You guessed it! It's as if Center Parcs is coming to Alton!
pluk
Have you been to centre parcs? It's not like that. If it was going to be like a centre parcs that would be great, especially if it included a worthwhile pool complex rather than splash, but it isn't. That pic shows how crammed in these will be compared to the feeling of solitude you get in a Centre Parcs villa. Coupled with the lack of amenities being developed alongside the accommodation, I don't really get what they are trying to achieve. It seems to fall somewhere between a hotel and a CP resort, and I can see it ending up with the advantages of neither. Altitude
Altitude
Plus Center Parcs is great because you ride your bike everywhere and the sites are huge, whereas this will be small, compact, and you could walk the distance in a few minutes! I think I'd rather visit the AT Hotel again than stay in a lodge, they look so small! Kerfuffle
pluk
Construction update from TowersStreet I like the little quirky design bits like the roof, but them all being so close to each other and being identical it takes away from it a little bit, hopefully they will appear more individual somehow when they are complete. Coaster
Looks average to me, and they are a bit close together. Also, they look absolutely nothing like the concept art (although I know they aren't finished yet).

Altitude
Scruffy Dog, who as a lot of you know do the sets for the Fright Nights mazes at TP, have released this photo on their Facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/scruffydogltd/photos/a.239532496065728.64300.236634323022212/875481749137463/?type=1&theater
Benin
I assume that'll be a room feature, since it's very bland...
