pognoi
Does it fold the same way though? The thing on this ride is essentially a sideways airtime hill.
Deleted Users
Yeah it's not the same because it bends outwards.
Altitude
The shaping is identical.
Deleted Users
I could see the difference but your insults have blinded me with my tears. pognoi
Altitude
The elevation is different but shaping is the same. I think the ride looks average compared to other RMCs, however you may not share the same opinion.
Mitchada04
I think as RMCs go this could be one of the better. It's got characteristics of a proper woodie, the launch is basically a very fast lift Hill so you still get an awesome drop. Looks packed full of airtime, quick change of direction and a quadruple down is crazy awesome! None of those stupid looking inversions. Mark9
That looks great. It's amazing that when Six Flags do it I can't stand them, but Dollywood makes one and suddenly I'm all ears.
pognoi
Just goes to show these new hybrids don't need any whacky inversions to be good. just some inspiration of the past injected in the layout, with new technology and you can truly make a great ride... or so it looks. Coaster
That looks amazing, but unless it's just perspective it looks like the second hill is just as high as the first!
JoshC.
^If anything, it looks slightly taller to me! Going to be some mighty fine air time there, that's for sure.
OldFarmerDean
I was wondering how the hell that would work (using my knowledge of RCT back in the day)... then remembered it is launched up the lift hill so would have enough speed

JoshC.
That quad down and drop after the lift look pretty sweet! The banked turn things are a bit odd though. Then again, I've always been dubious of them.
Altitude
Still think this looks a bit meh, except for the drop and the fast transition before the last turn/element, they look fun!

Matt 236
That is definitely a thing of beauty. I think Dollywood are on to a winner here.

CharlieN
@cianjs posted a video almost identical to this in the Derren Brown Ghost Train topic. Whilst this Dollywood version is less relatable, I found it just as funny. In other news, hasn't it been rumoured that LR has been running 8mph faster than intended and it has been seen at 80mph? If so, the airtime would be heavenly! Cian and GeorgeeFozzy
