stretchy
I would have also thought that HTC would have been involved as they headsets are obviously not going to be the same as the public pre-order ones. I would guess that they are custom builds. What also might be interesting is if HTC are heavily involved then maybe there will be other specialnesses to these machines. We also may see HTC using it as a launch vector when the Vives are released too. Which would be more advertising for the ride, which is definitely a good thing. Dodge2002
How is that any different from say B&M building their first ever dive coaster though? The hardware may look the same but there's a whole world of unseen untested software running every new ride. If anything they'll be less likely to fail, they've had almost 2 years of beta testing to get it right.
3Dimensions
Buy a headset in the giftshop? And lug it around the whole park for the rest of the day!
Project LC
If you are a Premium MAP they will store your over priced headset for you until the end of the day (£5 for standard pass holders). Oh and bags cost 5p.
Glitch
And lug it around the whole park for the rest of the day! What's wrong with that. It would be no bigger than say a shoebox I would assume. People lug giant teddy's around the park all day.
3Dimensions
Surely you'd be a target for thieves if you're seen buying one or carrying it/storing in ride lockers?

3Dimensions
Someone photoshop Derren's face onto Mark's! Yeah I know these are Oculi, but hey - 1984 is real, Derren and Mark are the overlords of the earth. Ziltoid will probably come looking for coffee soon. Project LC
Yeah let's hope it's really intense as that appeals to the mass family market. I have very low expectations for this and throughout the construction they have been getting lower.

coastercallum
It contained 4 pictures of what the vr would look like as well as 4 pictures of construction updates. The queue looked complete now with plants around the area. It also showed us the inside of the warehouse with the train carriage. JoshC.
The pictures were removed following a request from Thorpe Park I believe. Whilst we can't stop people sharing them between friends, we (TPM) ask that you don't post them on the forums, or elsewhere online. Many thanks. stretchy, David B, James Allgood and 2 others
