JoshC.
I thought the preview was confirmed as cancelled a few pages back? I wasn't paying attention though as I don't have a MAP. Thorpe's replies regarding the matter have been confusing. They've said there's no "preview day", but they have also said there will be some form of Annual Pass event (which they originally called a rehearsal day). So who knows? gabbygrace
perhaps they mean no soft openings?
L7123456
Ahhh the soundtrack is amazing! Praise IMAscore [emoji1376][emoji1376][emoji106][emoji106][emoji108][emoji108][emoji317][emoji317] Would love just a little more though that isn't clearly edited at points [emoji5]
Aaron Tuckwell
The MAP still mentions the rehearsal day on it.. As did the MAP facebook page a few weeks back too... So I'm assuming that this is similar to the Galactica rehearsal they did?
ThemeParkCrafter
I love this soundtrack. I personally love the section which was used for the trailer of to ride (not the one with Derren speaking). 400400
James Allgood
perhaps they mean no soft openings? I don't think were gonna say any soft openings with that train still outside and exposed to the elements. I expect that will have to do X amount of loops around the ride before its signed off pognoi
Coaster
Does anyone else think the marketing for this has gone a bit quiet? I know they released the soundtrack today but in terms of building up the opening of the Ghost Train, wouldn't they usually be advertising a new ride a lot more via social media etc by now? Ryan
They're probably waiting until they know for certain it will open on time. David B
L7123456
If I doesn't open on time, we won't know until the morning of the 6th when there's a sign outside Thorpe's entrance... But of course, I'm remaining fully optimistic that it shall indeed open on time!
Graw
the part on the soundtrack starting at around 2:30 has got studio 13 written all over it. I know the studio 13 music was actually from the MBV film, but still
Glitch
I haven't seen anything... ...however, I have seen this... What's a social edit? The edit for social media? But what makes it different to the original. The start sounds Colossus esk. The middle has an alien sounding theme tune.( I forget the piece of music?!) It sounds great. #IMAScore for fright nights 2016

Matt10
Earlier today on twitter, Thorpe replied upon queries on a preview event and they confirmed it was on the 4th, with tickets still to be released.

mah boi
I'm glad that building is looking top notch in regards to theming, but I'm not to keen on how they are adding all these posters which for me, ruins the visual understanding that the building is abandoned. I enjoyed the somewhat Victorian appearance of the depot, but I would have preferred if they added these posters inside the building where they cannot be seen from the outside. Regardless, its looking good so far. Will be looking forward to the opening. CharlieN
Ian-S
Maybe they've read TPM and taken on board how much everybody hates the quality theming of Saw's exterior.

mah boi
So abandoned train stations aren't going to have old posters up? Sent from my SM-G361F using Tapatalk If the posters were old train timetables and other things usually found in victorian times such as beverages and destinations to travel to, I wouldn't mind. But I doubt Victorians had to worry with fracking, and the posters look modern. That is where my issue lies. CharlieN and pognoi

The setting is an abandoned Victorian building in modern times, so over time anti fracking protestors would've put posters up on it (I'm guessing fracking is part of the storyline). James Allgood
There's a lot of posters up around the building and queue line area. Hiding writing on the wall. I'll post some photos of the writing on wall later
Owen
Does this mean effects within the trains outside can now begin to be tested? Let's hope so!
Ian-S
I doubt there's a huge amount of effects if there's VR involved.
Owen
Well 4D effects are expected to be untalised, I'd highly doubt they'd not include them if they are attempting to truely immerse you within the attraction, especially when they are really pushing the idea you won't know what is real and was is not. Ian-S
Yeah, I guess you'll see something in the VR and like a normal person think oh that's cool, then the zombie will grab your arm or something both physically and on screen, I'd guess the majority of effects/electronics will relate to those effects.
