25th December is the meet date Creek...We'll all see you there...

I know the meet in the past has always been the last weekend before Christmas, but that's getting a bit obscene now surely.

I may come along for the evening part of this meet now - as I am free that day, however, I'm MAP-less (fight the power) so won't be attending the attractions part of the proceedings if I grace you all with my presence

TGI's was unavailable to book so we will be sticking with the traditional Nandos. Secret Santa isn't happening due to a lack of interest.

 

Regarding Winter Wonderland, I have heard a few horror stories of people going this year so far and experiencing very long queues to get in. So that we make the most of our time at Winter Wonderland, how would people feel if we went there a bit earlier and skipped out one of the previous activities (Sealife/Shrek)?

It would certainly be worth going earlier.

 

I visited the event yesterday and arrived at 7, however did not get in until around 8:10. Once inside it was packed as well and we only got on two rides and had a beer (after a 20 mins queue for the bar)

 

The event is known for getting gradually busier as we near Christmas and Saturdays are always the busiest. I would be all for skipping a previous activity.

Even though I'm not doing WW, I'm happy to have one of the Merlin things spited.  Personally would prefer Tussauds to be spited because I somehow still haven't done Shrek and was hoping to do it this meet, but will follow the majority.

Looking forward to this  I don't mind missing an afternoon attraction as I'm MAPless - but I can get a ticket for the Dungeons

 

If any activity should get cut, it should be Sealife. Once you've seen one, you've seen them all, we see it every year, and whenever we go through it everyone just runs through it and is out within 20 minutes anyway.

Plus Tussauds has a few new additions this year, so it's worth doing more than Shrek/SeaLife are.
