Glitch
New website - http://www.portaventura.co.uk/theme-park New name/logo - New Ferrari Land video - Why does the video mention roll back in the stats?
JoshC.
So after Intamin were involved with the technical and engineering masterpiece of Taron, they give us this: (From TPR)
CharlieN
The track looks rather uneven...
Benin
For every good Intamin, there's about 10 awful ones... Bet Taron ends up riding awfully just to spite us all...
Mattgwise
Wow it really does look uneven. Anyone for Furious Baco 2? CharlieN
Marc
I'm sure its more the picture than the track - and if it is I doubt it will open like that!
JoshC.
I'm sure its more the picture than the track - and if it is I doubt it will open like that! I thought that too (especially in the first one), but I just don't think the picture could be that badly compressed / taken from a bad angle to make the track look that bad. And the second photo shows the track not looking that straight either! Even if they correct it though, it still seems really uncomfortable - you come down a 300ft+ tower, travel along a straight bit before going up a comparatively small hill and hitting brakes. Sounds like a recipe for pain to me!
Kerfuffle
I'm sure its more the picture than the track - and if it is I doubt it will open like that! Agreed. My only guess is that it's based on heatwaves rising from the ground and therefore deforming the look of the image? This IS Spain we're talking about. pognoi

Ryan
But the best ride at PA is an intamin. pognoi, Kerfuffle and ImLucifer
JoshC.
Should've gotten a B&M! But why? Ferrari Land / PA are wanting a launch coaster that goes very high. Why go with B&M, who have only made one launch on a coaster, when they can go with Intamin, who had a proven track record in building exactly what they wanted? CharlieN
But the best ride at PA is an intamin. I'm sorry but Shambhala > Furious Baco. I've never been to PA so I don't really have a valid argument...
Charlesberg
But the best ride at PA is an intamin. It will always be Shambhala!!Which is a B&M!! I've ridden both Baco and Shambhala so that can be safely said.

Matt 236
The height of this coaster looks mightily impressive in the Salou surroundings. Especially with the loverly main park peaking out in the distance. Apart from that, can't say it's the most inspiring coaster out there. Sure it'll beat Baco though. Glitch
Even stuff like this? It could be great for all we know! Writers don't have to be good at art you know. On a side note, why are we complaining about the bump? We don't come off Stealth and go wow the bump was the best bit. We ride these rides for the initial acceleration and the view from the top. Luke_A
The launch system appears to be LSM. I would imagine advancements in technology mean the capabilities of this setup are now greater than in previous installations. holtjammy16
the use of intamin's new track over the usual 4-bar track these top hat coasters usually have bothers me more than it should :'(

Pics: (http://en.pa-community.com) NOOOOO!!!They take away the recognisable features of this ride: the hydraulic launch and the normal track (I know it may be smoother but it doesn't look good on this ride). Baco save me!!!!
Project LC
Well that explains the slow acceleration. That's going to use a lot of power for a launch. I prefer the hydraulic cable launch. The faster acceleration and the way the acceleration is not consistent.
