JoshC.
Nice dramatic advert there! Hopefully this is nothing but a glowing success for the park! dragon2000
Ian-S
<< books tickets immediately. On the plus side I like that advanced tickets are valid for any day up to the end of October, rather than having to book a specific date like I assume you have to at Merlin parks (never have had to buy a day ticket for Thorpe in 20 years so don't actually know the procedure lol). Project LC
Booking for Merlin parks is done by a set date. Oakwod does any day for the season if pre-booked so it seems a common thing among the smaller parks. I hope paultons has a massive success on their hands. Matt 236
I think this promotional video definitely confirms Paultons is now officially one of the leading parks in the UK. Lost Kingdom looks a fantastic area, which will hopefully be a massive success to them. A visit this year is definitely on the cards. dragon2000
Ian-S
They just need something now that does a decent number of inversions and they'll be the best overall family park period simply because they'll be the only one that truly caters for everybody. They should bulldoze that useless kart track and stick a B&M on it, it would compliment that area perfectly, or maybe they should have offered Merlin 50 quid for Ripsaw, I'm sure their theming alone would make the ride infinitely better, aside from the Cobra and that water thing, Paultons really lead the way with park theming. pognoi
Benin
Hopefully with the success of this area they might look to the next step up of coaster level... Something like Lost Gravity or Anubis for example... Or Alpina Blitz, there's a lot of options for 1.2m rides... That advert is so much better than Galactica's... pognoi, OldFarmerDean and dragon2000
Matt 236
I would like to see the park offer more themed areas and experiences. Firstly, that Go Kart track needs to go as it looks remarkably out of place and is a good land chunk. This could make way for a decent family thrill coaster like Benin has mentioned. A small woodie like Heidi at Plopsaland would be great. I kno it may not happen, but it would suit the park so well. An updated flume and maybe a dark ride on some level would also be great and make the park an even better place to go. Whiteknuckle
A wooden coaster would suit the Go Kart area well. Maybe something along the lines of Antelope at Gullivers Warrington.

dragon2000
If anyone has not watched the tour video that Zach posted above, you must. The land looks fantastic. Will be even better walking through it in person with the dinos and rides in operation.
Whiteknuckle
I can't view it.
ThemeParkCrafter
I wish the tarmac had some dino footprints. The castle area at legoland is more immersive with the dragon's claws on the floor. Apart from this, it looks good. yeah

pluk
I couldn't make the dates sadly, so took season long open tickets instead.
Roodie
That was most likely the best option in hindsight.
Benin
Media day is today, so expect a fair amount of pics to come through... On the Twitters, it's really looking great...
Coaster
Paultons have uploaded some POV's to their channel; Velociraptor; https://youtu.be/df1tj8SlU84 Flight of the Pterosaur; https://youtu.be/D8CkBuaTPwM There are more on the channel. Looks great!
MattyMoo
Now why would they go and have the media day on the 6th May I wonder...
Benin
Because they're greedy and having two days worth of media stuff 10 days prior to opening... The POVs look standard... Pterosaur looks very fab with the rockwork and stuff...
JoelPagett
Hi guys, I went to the press event on the 7th May for Lost Kingdom and have to say I was REALLY impressed! The land is well thought out, the rides are good fun and it looks spectacular! I really think they have hit the nail on the head as far as target market goes. The 2 roller coasters are really good for the size of the park, especially The Flight of the Pterosaur, it had some great airtime hops! I have a fair few photos on my Flickr if you wanted to check them out; https://www.flickr.com/photos/themeparkmania/ Lost Kingdom Paultons Park by ThemeParkMedia, on Flickr Lost Kingdom Paultons Park by ThemeParkMedia, on Flickr Lost Kingdom Paultons Park by ThemeParkMedia, on Flickr Here is a video too showing off the new land!
