Matt 236
It's a great Shame rides break down at Thorpe. After all it's the only park that has breakdowns anyway.

planenut
Was intending to attend during next week, but a close friend just reminded me "it's half term"............oh catastrophe; as most of you will realize that means loads of you younger types there now until September on "study days", then holidays. Adam P
It was open Saturday morning, but was told it is awaiting a part.
Coaster
Is it viable for a park to purchase and store parts for a ride, meaning that they can have a system where they always have spare parts and order in a backup after the spare is used? Just wondering as rides seem to close a lot due to "waiting for a part", so this would solve that.
Project LC
They will have general spare parts for items that regularly break or need replacing. It is not economically or practically viable to store spares for everything. Just be relived that stealth doesn't have the reliability of TTD or the operations of Kingda Ka. Launch coasters are very complex and lots can go wrong. Coaster

Expand Indeed as ProjectLC said - the park, obviously have a stock of parts, but its not feasible for the park to store every single spare part what might break. Expand Certainly due to most of the rides being one of maybe three, many parts have to be manufactured to order, rather than being made ready. That adds to their cost. Mitchada04
Quote Please note: Stealth is currently unavailable Expand It's made it onto the website scroller! Han30
According to queue times site it hit a 60 minute queue quite quickly then was unavailable for a bit. Managed to get on using an exit pass after Inferno ceased operation as we were about to ride. Was great that they managed to get it open - same with X which was closed for most of the day
planenut
Wow, I was originally going over today, but with the weather doubtful, then finding Stealth was down, I decided not to. Must have been very cool today.

Han30
Saw someone post about the rollback on TPs FB page. I'm SO glad that didn't happen yesterday - I think I would freak out. Expand To my knowledge there has never been shirts, medals or any merchandise or awards for people having rollbacks. A rollback is actually bad for the ride! That's why when it happens the ride is closed for a long period of time.
RobF
The ride just needs to be reset, it normally takes about 20-30 minutes to go through the process of clearance to go into manual reverse train in station to offload, and slowly roll the train back into the station. Off load reset and charge accumulators test hand over ect ...
