September 8, 201213 yr comment_140944 #What even is the pic on the left? Plus link to the full magazine here: http://www.merlinvip...autumn12/page/1 3rd post in a row.... not good but heres another page: Edited September 8, 201213 yr by Sidders : As JoshC., the shadow Mod, said below.
September 8, 201213 yr comment_140947 Confuzzled - there is an 'edit' button in the bottom right hand corner of your posts. Rather than posting again and again, why not use this to add more information; it is rather annoying seeing consecutive posts... Strange that there's no specific mention of a new attraction in those pages though.
September 8, 201213 yr comment_140948 Might not have been announced by the time of press... Then again, I've not received this magazine since the first one... Bit crap really...
September 8, 201213 yr comment_140949 Might not have been announced by the time of press... Ah, didn't think of that actually. Would've thought though that, considering Se7en is not present, they would have had some sort of idea of a new attraction replacing it. Meh, not really like it's important; there's a new attraction replacing an old one, which is what matters when it comes down to it..
September 8, 201213 yr comment_140950 Is it just me, or does that look like they've edited the human centipede poster, changing the colour to red and removing the hands?
September 8, 201213 yr comment_140951 As a side-by-side comparison. Looks very similar in my opinion; as if Thorpe have drawn inspiration from it. Would love to see a maze which furthers Experiment 10's concept of forcing you into situations which aren't just walking in a conga line; being controlled by people into doing things against your will and such. Not sure how feasible that would be, however.
September 8, 201213 yr Author comment_140953 the nation's Thrill Capital is taken over by the criminally insane in the latest instalment of its now legendary FRIGHT NIGHTS event. Have the criminally insane ever been affiliated with FN before? Could be a hint towards the new maze... It also said that the attraction will be announced on Thorpe's Facebook page; I'm certainly keeping my eyes peeled on there! Also, I think E10 is the only main FN attraction that has been added since Thorpe properly focused on their new target audience and it is marginally better than the others scares wise (maybe not The Asylum). Hopefully now that Thorpe have a young adult target audience and have started to concentrated on it completely, their new FN attractions will be a lot scarier to cater for the young adults, who may want better scares, going through. I could be looking too far into this, but I think the quality of the mazes may start getting better than the likes of The Curse and start become more extreme like The Asylum and E10.
September 8, 201213 yr comment_140954 Have the criminally insane ever been affiliated with FN before? Could be a hint towards the new maze... The Asylum seems to fit that bill pretty well.
September 8, 201213 yr Author comment_140955 The Asylum seems to fit that bill pretty well. I always thought that was just insane people, not criminally insane? Oh well, we'll know this time next week.
September 8, 201213 yr comment_140956 I always thought that was just insane people, not criminally insane? Oh well, we'll know this time next week.I would generally consider a madman with a chainsaw to be criminally insane.
September 8, 201213 yr comment_140958 I know its a bit far fetched, but 'criminally insane', did alton towers not have a maze based around 2 insane criminals? And has such maze been removed from the towers this year? Just a thought. They might make out that the hamble twins have been moved to a 'secure' asylum bear london and escaped? Who knows though.
September 9, 201213 yr Author comment_140959 It would be a laugh if they were in The Asylum this year. Most people would not realise who they are, but the masks would certainly do their jobs at scaring people!
September 10, 201213 yr comment_140977 Yesterday the light was on in Asylum building and we got a quick picture in the little gap at the entrance, doesn't look like a lot is going on in this bit but wonder what is round the corner! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=379411145465983&set=a.318875528186212.72241.315760841831014&type=1&theater
September 10, 201213 yr comment_140981 They should do a maze of going through a psychiatric ward or something like that with actors dressed up as crazy patients and call the maze - THE WARD.
September 10, 201213 yr comment_140983 They should do a maze of going through a psychiatric ward or something like that with actors dressed up as crazy patients and call the maze - THE WARD. Surely they've got that pretty much covered with Asylum? Basically crazy patients that have been locked away. Unless you were thinking of something quite different to how Asylum currently is?
September 10, 201213 yr comment_140984 They should do a maze of going through a psychiatric ward or something like that with actors dressed up as crazy patients and call the maze - THE WARD.That would just be Asylum with a different name.
September 10, 201213 yr Author comment_140985 I wonder what those doors with locks on are there for? The one to the left was the gap I was talking about in my last update that was boarded up (the way it is in this picture now). There was also some lights on in Hellgate last Wednesday. Does anybody know when this new attraction is set to be announced? Credit to Stokesyboy of course!
September 10, 201213 yr comment_140986 They have not revealed the date it is being announced but it shall be definitely announced this week! Hope this helps
September 10, 201213 yr comment_140988 That is right by the entrance isn't it Jack? If so, those doors might be from back when The Showcase was used for shows? Or possibly be used as storage for stuff?
September 10, 201213 yr comment_140991 Ranger County Asylum I'm pretty excited for FN now! Same! Has anyone been today (Monday)? September 10, 201213 yr comment_140997 Ranger County Asylum I'm pretty excited for FN now! Those signs have been used in that maze for at least two years now. The Asylum will stay the same (albeit the usual slight change of layout). E10 will return with the same layout (I believe). The curse won't change, unfortunately. I believe Se7en will not return and will be replaced with a new attraction. Sent from my iPad
