So this will be the page for Holiday world in Indiana, USA. This park is home to 3 famous woodies, Raven, The Legend and The Voyage. Raven The Legend The Voyage All 3 are highly respected rides in America. And for 2015 it looks like they will be getting their first ever big steel coaster! Rumours were initially were RMC or Mack however the most likely rumour now is a B&M mainly due to the footers on site. These are the footers found on the holiday world site: Notice the footers with the almond/ova shaped holes in the middle of the shot. Then look at Banshee and Krake's: This among many websites, they think is conf…

Kind of surprised we didn't have a Fuji-Q thread to be honest. Not sure if anyone on the forums has been (maybe @Benin or @BenC ?), but of course, it's a park well known for breaking records and just general being a bit over the top insane. One of their most well known coasters is Dodonpa, a S&S launch coaster with a launch of 0-107mph in 1.8 seconds. The park have recently announced, however, that they are going to be retracking Dodonpa, with rumours circulating they they'll be adding a loop. And given Fuji's fetish for records, the world's tallest loop doesn't seem out of the question! The ride will close next month and reopen next sum…

Felt we had a SDC topic because of Outlaw Run but obviously not... SDC are building a Mack coaster for 2018. Not much is known at the mo (an announcement is due on the 16th), but rumours are suggesting to will be called Time Travellers and that it will be a launched spinning coaster. But to add a twist to the rumour, track has started to go up and poses more questions... Source - http://www.midwestinfoguide.com/2017/08/time-traveler-construction-sdc_3.html Yep, a 90 degree drop out of the ride's station - nice way to start any ride, but a spinner? Who knows. So yeah, definitely one to watch...

Nigloland is a theme park in north-eastern France. From the looks of it, there's nothing particularly 'special' about the place; just your standard, fun theme park. However, next year sees the addition of a Mack Megacoster - Alpina Blitz. I expect most people are aware how awesome Mack's Megacoasters look, and this one is no different: (All images from Nigloland) Looks like another fun coaster from Mack!

In my opinion this looks like the best LEGOLAND, and definitely the one I want to visit the most. I love the look of Polar X-Plorer, the Ice Pilots look quite good, Ghost look not bad, Viking River Splash looks almost too good, The Dragon looks good, the Pirate Splash Battle looks good, and so does Pirate Boats. On my list of foreign parks I HAVE to visit!

Recently rode this Log Flume and a half , and thought it was brilliant! Themed in every nook and cranny, and the drops within are amazing. Especially the final drop with the water coaster segment in it?But yes, favourite water ride out of the UK. Made this topic after searching for the relevant topic, so discuss!

Apologises for creating a thread about a ridiculously obscure park that next-to-no-one on here will likely visit any time soon, but I think it's worthy of its own thread.. So, Ankapark is a new park being built in Turkey, due to open in August 2016. And amazingly, they're planning on opening not 1, not 2, not 3, ... , but FIFTEEN roller coasters. Insane really. A full list of the coasters confirmed so far is on RCDB: http://rcdb.com/12017.htm Most interesting ones are naturally the Intamin 10-inverting (new style layout and presumably trains, like Altair) and an unknown Intamin family launch coaster (possibly like Juvulen). Unfortunately the rest of the coast…

So Sod it, I've never been and think its about time I took myself off to Orlando - the home of theme parks! Basically I just want some advice from those that have been. Core park essentials for me are to do all the Disney parks (although possibly excluding the water parks/ the water parks aren't a priority) and Universal studios and Islands of Adventure. BONUS parks would be seaworld and BUCSH Gardens! but Id rather spend multiple days at the other parks to get all the the attractions done than fitting too much in/rushing! So in terms of where to stay - where is the best to do a Disney and Universal combo? Can you stay at a Disney hotel and easil…

I have not been on this nor have I been to the theme park, but when I go back to Canada for holiday, I am for sure going to this theme park! :)Behemoth is a fairly new rollercoaster at Canada's wonderland, plus the longest and largest rollerocaster ever in all of Canada. I've looked at some of the POVs on youtube and the ride looks really insane! Have a look for yourself:

Located in Germany and home to Over-rated Ge-Force, this park (now owned by Studio 100/Plopsa) is getting a Vampire themed coaster from Premier Rides as well as retheming their Log Flume area to Wickie the Viking... Lots of pics ahoy! Sources are Holiday Park Facebook/Blog and Coasterfriends.de

Djurs Sommerland is a great Danish theme park. It has Piraten, an intamin mega light that's filled with air time. There's also Juvelen, an intamin family launch coaster. There's a large selection of water rides and a few flat rides including a gerstlauer polyp (new for 2016) and a Huss topple tower which looks like great fun. I don't think this will be a popular topic, but discuss below!

Bit of a long shot... but off to Sunny Beach in Bulgaria in less than 3 weeks now (excited is an understatement), and was pleasantly surprised to find out that there is a fun park there called Luna Park with a rollercoaster and some other rides. Just wondering if anyone has ever been before and know what it's like, as well as price wise etc. as I've heard from reviews it's pretty dear, but they haven't said prices.

Yet another park in the Six Flags chain, it used to house the other S&S Sky Swat (Catapult) which was recently removed and currently has the world's tallest Sky Screamer, several wooden coasters and Bizarro. It's just been announced that just like Colossus at SFMM, Cyclone will be closing on the 20th July after 31 years of operation (opened in 1983). Does anyone think this will be given the RMC Treatment or is it just the end for Cyclone considering the park has a few other woodies?

Pretty surprised to see there's no thread for this! Surely a ride so epic in every way deserves its own discussion? Spiderman is currently my all-time favourite ride. I remember it being one of the focuses of a theme park documentary I was watching a good 10 years back, showing behind the scenes footage and also footage of the ride itself...and when the famous finale to the ride was displayed, my mind was blown. Consequently, in the summer of 2008, I finally had the chance to give this a ride once and for all! SPOILERS:

Has anyone experienced this ride at Animal Kingdom in Orlando?I think it is really good. Love the start when you get to the top and there's no track ahead of you. First time I rode it I honestly though the ride was broken:)

Not sure if anyone has been, but the gold coast in australia has a few parks.Tried creating a new topic in Industry Spotlight specifically for this, but Australia needs a topic too. http://www.rcdb.com/1137.htm?p=0New trains on an old Arrow coaster, 'Vampire' I screamed in my mind. They're weird, but according to youtube comments they make the ride much smoother! Before: (Corkscrew)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rhn64UlAAF8After: (Sea Viper)

Legoland Deutschland has announced that they are building a new €15.5m coaster in 2023, that will be the first of its type in a Legoland park: https://www.themepark-central.de/legoland-deutschland-neuheit-2023/ The ride will be located in a new themed area between the holiday village and Land of the Pharaohs that will also contain another attraction. Nothing else has been said other than the budget, the fact that it’s part of a themed area, and that it’s the first of its type in a Legoland park. There are no real rumours, but interestingly, I’ve heard both an SBF Hamster Wheel (suggested within the above article) and an S&S Axis (a European park wa…

Has anyone done any Halloween events in Europe, and if so any recommendations? I did Asterix last year which was great so I’m keen to try some others this year, looking at potentially doing Walabi Holland and Belgium but any thoughts would be appreciated If anyones done either of the Walibi parks at Halloween what did you think of them?
