    Efteling

I'd personally say the rollercoasters at Efteling have more personality than any other park in Europe. Perfectly tailored to the family audience, full of whimsy and quirkiness. Baron is a painfully average dive machine but everything that surrounds it elevates it to one of my favourite coasters. Yes it doesn't have the big coasters but a lot of big coaster parks are completely soulless, lacking any magic or enthusiasm or anything that resembles pride.

  3. With all the credit crunch and the fact that a lot of the rides at the Pleasure Beach are old, and half of them are owned by the bank, do you think Blackpool Pleasure beach will survive much longer?. what are your thaughts

    Rameses Revenge

Rameses Revenge is known for being Chessingtons biggest thrill, and the only one to invert riders. Like the Rattlesnake, Rameses is also in a whole in the ground, with the queue line starting on normal ground, and getting lower to the ground and then eventually to the platform, where you are strapped in, and your seat is checked. After that, your in for one hell of a ride!Discuss Chessingtons biggest thrill ride here!

    Logger's Leap

Abit stupid - im sure the park will deal with it mind with their face / name all over the video. As for the state of the ride it don’t really look any different to what I’d expect, cut down some trees, clear the leaves out and fill it with water and it wouldn’t look any different to it did on its last day of operation.. fingers crossed we get a firm answer on its future either way next season.

    Logger's Leap

What an absolute disgrace. By that I mean both the state of the ride and the person breaking in.

    Logger's Leap

What sort of pillock breaks into a theme park and records themselves, including their face?

  9. You can't judge performance on queue times. When I visited, the Big one had a longer queue as it was taking longer to dispatch. Icon was a shorter wait but the queue was moving way quicker.

  10. Should be able to make this one as I’ve already requested leave and am expected to be off on the weekend. Should be a Phantastic meet!

    Next Roller Coaster

I'd love to see a Lech-style Vekoma coaster at Thorpe. It's pretty compact, fast and from reports is smooth.. That would fit quite nicely if we aren't going to see an RMC or GCI...

    Rameses Revenge

Am I right in thinking RR is 2 years older than Ripsaw? Pretty sure Rameses was installed in 1995 and Ripsaw 1997 (correct me if I’m wrong). I’m surprised Rameses has lasted as long as it has but it’s nice to have it at the park as it’s the only thing that goes upside down and remotely thrilling. I remember the days when the queues would hit over 2 hours (sod that although when it opened I waited 2 hours for my sister and her friend to ride it ?). Went on this twice today - second time I got so drenched my hair was soaked but at least it was a warm day - last time I went to CWOA the fountains weren’t even on and I was boiling. Really don’t think RR has long left - I personally really like it but it’s pretty ancient for a flatty and today it had several issues where it started a cycle and just stopped pretty much before the ride had actually got going - the ride cycle we got was short but sweet - 4 or 5 flips then getting a soaking though I do miss the days of 2 cycles I hope when it’s time is up that it doesn’t end up SBNO - I hate rides that are just there rotting *cough Loggers* although given the choice between that or a bloody inflatable chuffing game thing a la Ripsaw I think I’d rather just see RR sat there.

    Old Vampire

Erm... Excuse me!Vampire is no where near pathetic at all!Vampire is the most common ride at Chessington & Zoo along with Dragon's Fury. Most people end up visiting Chessington for Vampire! Also, Vampire has a low height restriction for young adventurers to enjoy roller coaster, along with being a great ride!If you think Vampire is pathetic at Chessington, then it is not the ride that is being pathetic!

It still fills over half the queue on a nice day.

    Rameses Revenge

I love Rameses Revenge- It is well themed and doesn't ever get much of a queue so they send it round 2 or 3 times!I don't understaqnd why they have such a long queue line though
