Don't believe what other people are saying. From what I have heard big top is returning where Bouncezilla is and WD will be where sanctum was two years ago. And even better news for yourself, Platform 15 has been extended this year. There will be an interval in the tunnel where they are using some of the old Experiment 10 shipping containers and you will travel inside them. I have confirmed this with your favourite person JACK SILKSTONE VIP and he is putting a video out tonight which will confirm this!

Big Top is returning to the park! Someone brought the wrong clothing size. Oh, and that good circus themes maze is gone.

Hmm, nobody else has messaged, but based on your request I will change this to a poll to see who the others are that say they can only make the 13th. I will put the poll up for one week.

I think minimum one maze at Tulleys using touch scares would be great. May add some more variation between each haunt. That being said, I do think they do well anyway without the need to touch the guests but I can see how it adds another dimension to a maze

Touch scares are a tricky one. For some people, there's a huge fear of what could happen: a lot of people worry about being touched and having their personal space invaded. But once that wall is broken, some can lose that fear (because you realise being touched isn't that bad). There's then the other side that when touching is allowed, actors can become over-reliant on it. Even for people who don't like it, you can quickly become desensitised to it, and ultimately it loses its value. Plus, touching doesn't always ramp up scars factor. Sometimes it can take away from the experience, take you out of the story ("why is this butcher who wants to take me away, kill me and sell my meat only stroking my head?" For example). It has to have a reason and be timed rightly. Personally, I reckon touching works best when it's a bit more full-on (say, Sub Species style, where you can be forced to go in certain ways, etc). Anything less than that rarely increases scare factor imo

It's formerly the Colony so approx. duration in the maze is 2 hours.

I'm gassed to sick levels about the movement of the Platform 15 sign. That to one side - I'm feeling positive that there seems to be more "fixed" fencing/boundaries to mazes thus far instead of Heras fencing covered in see through hessian. Step in the right direction. That said, I can't see much changing with Do Or Die in relation to the Heras fence themeing, bearing in mind BOUNCEZILLA has to be dismantled before "construction" can begin... and it's still got a week or so left!

Couple of my non geek work mates went to Thorpe on Friday not knowing anything much about DBGT. Having ridden they were very annoyed that they had 'wasted' 45 minutes to queue for this. Their reviews to me: "I've had more fun on the actual underground train playing candy crush on my phone" "What's the point? It's just shit" Hard to argue with that really!
