JoshC.
Toverland's latest coaster, d'Wervelwind (translated as Whirlwind; shock horror!) is set to open to the public tomorrow; serving more as a soft opening in a way as the new area it is a part of doesn't open until next April! The Mack spinning coaster had it's media event yesterday; a few photos... The swamp themed station. Station and cars. (Sources: http://themepark.nl/...417#Post1912417 and http://themepark.nl/...518#Post1912518) The Magic Valley area will be completed for April and the area looks absolutely brilliant! Really must get myself down to this park!

Hybrid, woodie, I don't particularly care what it is, it still looks like a good, fun ride!

Luke_A
That's great news for Liseberg, as if they didn't have a great collection of roller coasters & rides already! Look forward to hearing & seeing more about this.
pluk
Not sure this is the best recreation possible. I find the layout kind of odd, but can't put my finger on why. Not saying it does not look rather good though! UnderItAll

Mitchada04
Ocean Kingdom (a new theme park for China next year) has begun construction of their wingrider. The layout seems to focus on the sheer size of these wingriders with a 164 foot drop like Raptors, a huge dive loop, zero G roll and a tunnel. Nice to see another unique layout which all wingriders seem to have except maybe Swarm and X Flight. JackR and Luke_A
Benin
What a weird layout... Especially the extensive tunnel... That'll cost a fortune to build...
Mark9
Hmm. Definitly shows the legs of the wing rider concept although this one seems all teeth and no bite. We shall see..
Deleted Users
Surprised this hasn't been posted yet but Hershey have announced that Skyrush will be closed for their Halloween event which covers the rest of the season. It doesn't come to as a shock to me given Intamin's recent track record, the design of the trains and the forces in the track layout.
Tom
Hurrr. You'd think that these manufacturers would get it right at some point. There's always issues with new rides with every manufacturer but I would've thought they had been doing it long enough. Surely after the Intimidator 305 blackout fiasco meaning a track replacement would have made them more cautious with Skyrush? Although saying all of that, I know these rides aren't that simple and it's a wonder any of them work!

Bubbles1
I can't wait for attractions based on Star Wars. They could have a simulator, and its actually a ship, and heck why don't they throw in multiple endings so that people want to ride it over and over. WHY HAS NO ONE THOUGHT OF THIS BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pluk and Benin
Benin
That's exactly what I've thought when people have been pondering what Disney could do with a Star Wars themed attraction... They also got Indiana Jones with the deal, wonder what they could do with THAT franchise? pluk
