Posted September 22, 20168 yr comment_241656 I am lucky, I only live about five miles from TP. I often meet people who have travelled hundreds of miles, but yesterday, I met a young girl who lives in Ealing, West London. She doesn't have a lot of money, therefore does not bring a car needing to pay the car park fee. She rides her bicycle, starting off about 8.30 a.m. to cover the eleven miles through the streets of west London. Me switching the car engine on is hard enough for me.
September 22, 20168 yr comment_241667 About 2 1/2 hours... Maybe 3 if the M25 is being particularly Car Parky! Means I basically have to plan a nights stay anytime I go. However only and hour from Towers so...
September 22, 20168 yr comment_241669 1 hour 20 if no traffic, but considering I have to go down the m25, there is always traffic :x
September 22, 20168 yr comment_241671 1 hour (with regular traffic) by car, sadly 4 hours from Towers
September 22, 20168 yr comment_241673 Not very far for me. Around 30 minutes with no traffic but can be over an hour on the way home due to horrible Junction 13-15 traffic
September 22, 20168 yr comment_241677 Not too far for me either takes about 40 mins no traffic but normally is so 45mins On the way back Traffic is Awful tho like MilesK said. ;D
September 22, 20168 yr comment_241689 1 hour 45 minutes minimum for me, usually about 2 hours though cause of the m25, then about 2 and a half hours on the way home only an hour from towers tho and only 30 away from my local cred collection theme park, twinlakes!
September 22, 20168 yr comment_241690 Is meant to be an hour for me but it's pretty much M25 all the way so the minimum time goes up half hour usually!
September 22, 20168 yr comment_241691 Around 45 minutes for me. But can be longer/shorter depending on the godamn M25!
September 22, 20168 yr comment_241692 Pretty sure I win the 'Lives Closest to Thorpe Park' award. Usually takes me 10 minutes to get there. By bike.

I saw "10 minutes" and thought "Oh I live closer than that!" And then saw by bike and thought "Ah". I'm about 5/10 minutes drive away myself, it's about as close to me as the local leisure centre lol.
September 22, 20168 yr comment_241698 25 minutes for me if the traffic is good. If it's not so good, maybe 45.
September 22, 20168 yr comment_241699 Just checked and, including current traffic Thorpe is a 17 min drive

September 23, 20168 yr comment_241742 Around 1 hour 30 minutes or just 1 hour without the M25 traffic. (47 miles)
September 23, 20168 yr comment_241761 Oh all you lucky people... four hours, five if unlucky on the M6. Always means a stay at the Travelodge in Chertsey, and a night out in "that" London. 2 hours away from the Towers, but only 20 minutes from Blackpool, so that's next years season ticket decided!
September 23, 20168 yr comment_241766 Around 15 mins on a clear run - usually closer to 20 with traffic!
