Ricky
I think if they were to try a fastrack vending machine they would put it on a more popular attraction such as SAW - The Ride or THE SWARM.
Mark9
Seems a bit pointless putting that there as the fastrack shop is less then a minute walk away.
StevenVig
It's probably a Retail Unit being made, that way they can remove the barrow
Flipper
Its a queue line shop, like the ones in SWARM, SAW, and Colossus, with a slightly re-routed queue line
Fred
Gotta love these shops. Seriously, I prefer them to vending machines which used to precede at other parks - and hey, it adds up the employment the park brings!
Joegibbon
Yep it a queueline shop. Looks like its not fully finished yet though. Have a picture: Clicky
Fred
What a ridiculous caption for the photo though.I find these shops brilliant - get into a queue, get caught out cos it's gotten warm or taking longer than you originally expected, you're extremely thirsty, you go past shop in queue selling drink for the same price as anywhere else in park, which also gives you annual pass discount, so you don't lose out like if you bought from a vending machine. You don't have to buy from them, they don't shout out at you to buy anything either.People need to get a bloody grip when criticising over stuff, or get a new hobby. thorpeparkjack
Only thing which is slightly annoying is the fact you can't get AP discount...
Benin
Sure you can... I've always got AP discount on the few times I've used them...Of course, if you have an AP, you should bum the AP flask, cos it's fab for £16...It's only the new Nemesis 'shop' that you can't get discount in, so it's now officially useless... Fred
Can definitely get AP discount, as they're classed as retail outlets.
Marc
Only thing which is slightly annoying is the fact you can't get AP discount...In the past you wasnt able to, the units at thorpe added at the last minute didnt have what I'm guessing was a data connection so they had basic tills, Colossus this year now has a normal till as does Swarm, not sure about Saw but I expect it will do. Benin
Saw and Colossus have queueline shops?
Flipper
Saw and Colossus have queueline shops?Yes, SAW has it in the second extension (beyond the cattle pen, tucked right in the corner) and Colossus has it as you come through the tunnel the second time. SAW's doesn't yet have anything more than a basic till system, but I presume it will be upgraded.
Mark9
So I heard Nemesis Inferno was just another forceless B&M. (Credit - Coasterforce) Benin and Sidders
pluk
Nice. Is that real, if so where's it from? Assuming there are others, I want something to compare it to.
Mark9
Yeah I stole it from Coasterforce.. for a comparison here is Nemesis. (Credit - Coasterforce) pluk
Bubbles1
Interesting to see it is quite close to nemesis in terms of the forces, yet proves which is superior.
Benin
Holy crap at the 6g spike... Trying to work out where that might be on the ride... But yeah Inferno has always been reasonably forceful, but of course, every Invert ever in compared to Nemesis... Bless it, so inoffensive yet derided... tomglazed
Could the 6g spike not be the sharp downward helix straight after the first corkscrew?
JoshC.
6.2g / 6.3g (ish) spike on Nemesis is...interesting. I mean, yeah it's forceful, but wow, THAT forceful? Multiple moments above 5g too.. Just goes to show that Inferno is still forceful; though people may not think it's that forceful because of the moments when it reaches such a high force perhaps not being as noticeable as on other rides(?) (Btw Mark, have you got a link to where on CF that is? )

Joegibbon
I'm thinking that 6g spike is probably the helix too because looking at it I reckon the -0.5 g is the zero-g roll, it's also in sort of the right place thinking about the layout and time it takes
Crafty
Nemesis is my opinion is better due to the themeing and just feel of the ride. Inferno is still an awesome ride, especially at the front row
