Dodge2002
Didn't it always use to crawl up at that speed for the first few seasons? Maybe I'm imagining it but I swear it just randomly got faster one season.
TPJames
Just drove past... A car stuck at the top of the lifthill with some sort of crane next to it. Anyone know what is going on?
JoshC.
Possibly testing evacuation procedures?
TPJames
Possibly testing evacuation procedures? At 9PM though? It seems awfully odd...
Ryan
At 9PM though? It seems awfully odd... Well they're not going to do it when the park's open are they. MachoMachine and Kerfuffle
JoshC.
At 9PM though? It seems awfully odd... Genuine question - what other explanation would there be that is less odd? Parks do checks and train staff / test out safety procedures during the season whilst the park is closed. This may also be in light of recent events, but it shouldn't be anything to worry about! Mitchada04
Saw could break down like that in the dark... so you might want staff used to dealing with the situation in the dark as well. Plus engineers are there till 11, maybe they were doing all there evening checks and stuff before they started training staff or something. LK_
http://gyazo.com/59d6c0626af4756350ae3648ffb962f8 seems that it's having a training procedure according to ride on review facebook page, if I can see that correctly the front seat harnesses look like they're open in the middle of the day
RubyRed95
Yeah yesterday they actually did practice evacuation while the park was open... At like 11am. Really odd choice to be honest, but interesting to watch it happen. Least they're being cautious I guess!
EC!
So saw is currently getting evacuated off the midcourse brakerun as we speak, 2 trains on the final brake run as well, the removal of people of the ride seems very safe and swift though. Altitude
I'm sure some chav will send a photo to the Sun later tonight don't worry! Does anyone know the reason for the break down? (If there was one)
Matt10
Probably either a fault on that brake run, the final brake run or a block section issue which seems to happen quite frequently nowadays.

James Allgood
Dunno if anyone has picked up on this yet.... but the saw spinning blades have been removed!?!
paige
Wouldn't that just be a part of the general maintenance? Or am I an uneducated fool
CharlieN
^ I think you're right. Personally I think the blades look cheap and fake and I would love to see some more realistic blades be put in. 400400
Ricky
^ I don't think H&S would approve of anything but what they have now. As far as I know this is the first time they have been removed, which is probably for maintenance, they did get to the point where they where off/broken more often than not. What I think would be a neat idea is if they sped up as the train approached.
Kerfuffle
What I think would be a neat idea is if they sped up as the train approached. You mean like they'd be static at first but then move when a train is ascending the lift hill and go static again once the train has cleared the loop? That would be great as it would look as if the blades are part of the lift mechanism, therefore adding to the effect of the ride being a mechanical device. slendercat and 400400
Charlesberg
I'm not sure if it's me being slightly taller (so my head's above the restraints) or the ride itself but when riding it last week it felt so much smoother than usual. I got barely any headbanging at all, have they done something to this ride to make it more pleasurable? 400400
