^ I don't think H&S would approve of anything but what they have now. As far as I know this is the first time they have been removed, which is probably for maintenance, they did get to the point where they where off/broken more often than not.

What I think would be a neat idea is if they sped up as the train approached.

You mean like they'd be static at first but then move when a train is ascending the lift hill and go static again once the train has cleared the loop? That would be great as it would look as if the blades are part of the lift mechanism, therefore adding to the effect of the ride being a mechanical device. :)

I'm not sure if it's me being slightly taller (so my head's above the restraints) or the ride itself but when riding it last week it felt so much smoother than usual.

I got barely any headbanging at all, have they done something to this ride to make it more pleasurable?

It was defiantly smoother than last year
