sully1311
This must be the worst year for breakdowns for ages.
Marc
It's not been the best recently , although if true about Colossus it sounds like its planned but still not good.. Although hopefully slammer will be back this week!

Stokesyboy
I'm pretty sure it's not closed because of The Passing? I've read about it in loads of places that it's down because it's having work done to the wiring/supports?
JoshC.
Colossus is closed and is likely to remain closed all week as some of the supports in the pit need some work. thenonlymreason I think they shut Colossus is to do with THE PASSING photos will come tonight It seems that there's some support work going on with the ride. Whilst it's nice to see park-wide stories and the like, to close down a major coaster for a whole week (at least) just to advertise a maze / keep it secret is overly extreme, and would no doubt annoy many guests who visited on those days. Imagine the uproar if Alton Towers were to supposedly do that with rides in the X Sector this season due to SW7...
Marc
Colossus is down for work to Colossus and no other attractions, the cherry pickers around the area give that much away! Olistjj and Stokesyboy

Mitchada04
Any news on Slammer as I had heard it was expected to open before Fright Nights. I know there's still time but it's looking unlikely.
Graw
Hi guys, went to Thorpe Park today and Colossus was open, seemed a bit rougher than usual though. All effects (including the yellow bar on Storm Surge) were working which was a bit strange. Tidal Wave was closed for a bit and Samurai and Slammer are still shut. The entrance near Ranger County (or whatever) that leads to X:/No Way Out was closed with a sign with an advertisment for "The Passing" on it. Also Neptunes Beach was shut for preperation for The Curse, however I didn't see the tent up. No effects working on Rumba Rapids but all on Storm Surge. Also notice that the music in X's queue was not on, but it was on during the ride, quite loudly as the ride ended, the same track as last year. All Swarm effects were working and the whole atmosphere in the park was buzzing a quite busy for October (fastrack!) Great day, and sorry if this went a bit of topic, will post a update of my day soon .
Ricky
Not too sure what beach you where looking at but The Curse is fully erected with its queue line laid out as well!
Graw
Neptunes Beach, right? I must have missed the tent then.
daboywunda
Neptunes Beach, right? I must have missed the tent then. As you're walking back to the dome, it's on the right hand side (kinda next to Rush).. It was there when I went mid-September, assuming that they don't erect it then move it
Graw
Oh right, probably wasn't looking to be honest, I just saw a sign saying it was closed due to The Curse opening, good to see all the other mazes up though.
sully1311
This morning was a nightmare for Thorpe with Swarm not opening til the afternoon, Saw having a few breakdowns, Nemesis having a breakdown and Vortex unable to stop itself. In the afternoon reliability was good though. Off Topic: It was EMPTY there today. I only get the chance to go once or twice a year but it shocked me how empty it was. Managed Swarm and Nemesis Inferno 7 times, Stealth 6 times, Colossus 4 times, and Saw 5 times!
Marc
Samurai is going back together now, all going well I guess that could be up and running early next week! Slammer testing abit more today, restriction board gone back up, I guess this will be any day now? (I hope!) Marhelorpe and Ryan

Cal
Went last night nothing was closed and nothing seemed to of broke exept the passing and colossos only having one train. Samurai also is back in operation.
dragon2000
Man, Colossus has been on one train operation for weeks now. Shame a fault has seemingly come about at the busiest part of the season... Glad that everything else if up and A-Ok.
