Stokesyboy
Looks amazing. I wonder if there will be some sort of fence around it... I hope they don't put a fence around it, it would ruin it!!
mah boi
^Its most likely they will have to. Like the overturned lorry, they put a fence around that. Health and safety is probably the main reason why.
Dodge2002
They could actually make it look pretty cool by fencing it off with loads of police line tape and "temporary" police fencing.
StevenVig
It may not even have a permanent fence, it could be that maybe its not finished yet?
Mitchada04
The new theming element looks to be complete and with no fence surrounding it, at the moment anyway. Credit to TPMs FaceBook page.

Benin
Gotta be honest here, the back end of it looks crap (particularly the wheel arches) and the plain flat bottom is just meh... It's good, but could be better...
pluk
Flat bottom = not a climbing frame = no fence 'Real' bottom = just like a climbing frame = fence required This is the better of the two evils I'd say. Who knows what the underside of an ambulance looks like anyway?!
Saz
^Took the words right out of my mouth. I wonder why this didn't require planning permission - I guess it's simply because it isn't visible from outside the park and that it's small enough not to require any prior permission. Does anyone know if there will be smoke coming from top of the ambulence? It would create a nice mysterious atmosphere if it did ala Fright Nights. Marc
Not sure about smoke but it has flashing lights / sound effects..
StevenVig
Not sure about smoke but it has flashing lights / sound effects.. That explains the electronic cables then
Mark9
I like it. The Swarm really hates the emergency services. mah boi
Dodge2002
If they have all effects/lights/smoke/fire working by fright nights, THE SWARM island is going to look EPIC when the sun goes down.
Stokesyboy
I reckon we'll see something happening over on the island aswell, room for anything
mah boi
If they have all effects/lights/smoke/fire working by fright nights, THE SWARM island is going to look EPIC when the sun goes down. I have a feeling that most of the effects will be functioning during the olympics.
Inferno
Is anyone able to tell me if the problems with some of the seats have been resolved? Is the Swarm now running at full capacity again with both trains?
Marc
Judging by my last visit all the issues have been resolved yeah Inferno
Doc
Glad they have sorted that out. I am just upset and irritated that the coaster has only been around a few months and it has already been the victim of vandals (Mainly the church building) It just feels upsetting and disrespectful that Thorpe have actually made a effort for The Swarm, then it is ruined by inconsiderate..."people" who just come and mess it up. It really ruins the atmosphere, seeing rude/dumb and pointless comments scribbled over the walls. Still I guess it is inevitable really. No point trying to fight it. Stokesyboy
So the news flying round facebook at the moment is that a bolt has come off the Swarm! Picture of the bolt: Ride seems to be back in operation according to Marc!
Dodge2002
Looks like a lame prank, the old carrying a bolt around to freak people out that they probably accidentally dropped. If there was any downtime it was probably because thanks to some idiot they had to double check each bolt to make sure it didn't come from the ride. mah boi
Fred
All coasters sheer bolts throughout their lifetime - even if they've only just been put in. It's literally nothing to worry about.
Benin
Fun fact, most bolts in the engineering industry are designed to sheer off in case of emergency... This includes aircraft wings and engines... Besides, factor of safety then comes into play... The track will be connected with more bolts than actually needed to ensure safety in case of such an event occurring... So no worries...
