Weeksy
Was that today or when it first opened? Intriguing... No nets!
RobF
The Nets are always down when the cherry picker is in use( you can see the poles for the nets so recent), I wouldnt expect rush to be open for atleast another week judging the pannels and restraints are off as a minimum

Luke_A
Rush was being worked on today, it had no restraints fitted at the start of the day; but then by about 11am, 4 or 5 lap bars were fitted on swing A. The cable entrance covers on the towers were also not yet fitted and it looks like some of the metal from the crown piece isn't fitted either. Something also to note is that the restraints and headrests which were being fitted were NOT new ones, they were clearly old ones because they were faded with marks all over them still. Rush should be back by next weekend (but don't take my word for it, we were expecting it back today just like SAW: Alive was expected and didn't happen). They've done a lot of maintenance on the swings themselves, and they we're still in the process of putting the whole ride back together yesterday. The restraints are most likely in good condition and will be cleaned up with a bit of desguard before the ride returns to operation
Ricky
Strange saw alive isn't open until 24th...
Mr. Fish
Strange saw alive isn't open until 24th... When I came in this morning they had so many actors for the premier event I thought maybe they were using the saw actors for it this weekend, and maybe not have so many for new weekend and reopen saw alive? Flipper
Strange saw alive isn't open until 24th... I was told it was open this weekend, and it wasn't. Looked like a divvy telling people it was then being told it wasn't
TN Jonny
I heard that rush had a swing today but still not ready for the public.

Ricky
Rush will hopefully be open at the weekend, it begun testing yesterday afternoon.
Mitchada04
When I left the park today after the Swarm ERT they were testing the swing closest to the airgates. The other swing (closest to the control cabin) had test dummies in so shouldn't be long until we see it open, even if it is only one swing. RobD
So, can anyone say if Rush is running noticably better since it's major overhaul this closed season?
JoshC.
Still seems to be having a fair bit of trouble if I'm honest. It sounds incredibly squeaky and noise (sometimes it sounded like a woman screaming...), and not all the lap bars are locking at the same time either, meaning they have to be 'manually locked' (don't know how to describe really; hope that makes sense). At least it's up and working, and getting a few decent high swings. Am I right in saying it had troubles opening in 2008, and then was a bit off for a while before it's accident, the last time it has a major overhaul? Marc
Both swings are decent and forceful now (null)
RobD
Squealing pistons is good! Basically, it means it's all shiney and new. Lap bars not locking isn't a major issue, just slows everything down, staff are the main problem there really. It has had a major refurb this year, so will be practically brand new mechanically speaking. Great to hear it's performing well, finally! It had a whole assortment of troubles until 2009 really, it was only then it really got reliable. Don't try and draw any conclusions from overhaul = accident.
