February 25, 201411 yr comment_177256 Have they said how many they are releasing? Just to gauge how busy it might get.
February 25, 201411 yr comment_177263 I booked with my annual pass which runs out on the 28th of February because I'm not getting a new one till I'm there, I should be alright with that if I bring my old one shouldn't I?

February 26, 201411 yr comment_177299 I would expect around 2000-3000 maximum I hope so! People who went last year, was there any ques? If so how long roughly were they?
February 26, 201411 yr comment_177302 I hope so! People who went last year, was there any ques? If so how long roughly were they? I went last year (on the Sunday) and it was absolutely FREEZING!! As a result it was fairly quiet. I wasn't dressed properly for the cold and gave up and went home within 2 hours, but had been on just about everything before I left!
February 26, 201411 yr comment_177305 Whether could be a lot nicer this year, so I'd expect 4-6k as a more reasonable guess. Really hard to judge though, what with it being split over 2 days and coinciding with Chessie's weekend.
February 26, 201411 yr comment_177308 The Fright Nights preview day was reasonably busy, not as busy as a normal park day but all coasters were on one train if I remember rightly, causing slightly larger queues.
February 27, 201411 yr comment_177372 Only ride I remember on 1 train was the Swarm because one of the trains was still being converted to backwards seating.

Its what stopped us getting on as much as we'd have liked. Highly irritating as it was fairly busy.
February 28, 201411 yr comment_177441 You can take a friend right? (Who doesn't have an annual pass) they stopped doing it since how much of a disaster it was back in 2011
March 4, 201411 yr comment_177608 THORPE PARK Resort @THORPEPARK 3m @EthanLC12 10am-4pm Ethan Really thorpe closng earlier then Chessington???
March 4, 201411 yr comment_177609 It's a preview weekend spanned over 2 days. Yes, it's a shame they aren't opening for an extra hour, but if it means the park is better prepared for full opening, then all the better.
March 4, 201411 yr comment_177611 Well, I'm hopefully off to Chessington on the Sunday. Thorpe can easily wait. I CAN'T WAIT FOR CHESSIE!
March 4, 201411 yr comment_177618 Chessington outdoing Thorpe - poor show. 11am - 5pm would be a much more sensible time.
