Matt 236
What a day for fake news, first that WC16 name & description, now this. What next, Air gets an airport theme & their food loop becomes themed around an airport baggage reclaim? Adam P and Jack F
GladiatorFanKyle
According to chessington buzz the new ride is a Zamperla Water Mania... is this true???
HermanTheGerman
Well, it's not the first time I've heard this rumour...
Mattgwise
Yeah I just read this too. Would be a good choice for the park as they are high capacity at 48 riders per ride, something the park lacks in. Â
Benin
They're crap/boring/pointless though... Â We've already learnt that Splash Battles in the UK are silly additions, just because they're on a set of Teacups doesn't make them any better... Â Uninspiring choice if they are to be believed, which I don't, since they've got a fair amount wrong before... Jack F
pluk
I've not had the 'pleasure' of one of those before, looks pretty dire though. Â If they actually moved on plates and could be spun like teacups that'll seem a pretty neat idea, but this very much doesn't.
pognoi
I don't know, I thought the one at Thomas Land was great fun. Much better then a splash battles, and if you're put in a good group on a hot day they're pretty fun. I think it's opinions though.
JoshuaA
I guess if this is cra*p Chessington Buzz can't get any worse than TPC.. IMO it would be a pointless additon. Chessington needs loads of things, this ain't one of them.
Matt 236
I'll take the Sky Fly anytime. dragon2000 and Kerfuffle
Coaster
Splash Battles are great fun, but only in the right weather! This could be a good addition for Chessington, but I haven't actually been on one of the Zamperla ones before so can't comment on that. JoshC.
The phrase "better`than nothing" springs to mind. Â Â It would be a neat little attraction, I'd enjoy going on it in warm weather, and it would probably be a well-received thing, but it's simply not what the park needs. dragon2000
Please no. Would much prefer something like a Sky Fly too. Not a fan of getting wet at the theme park (I know some people are). One day I pray that we can get a decent capacity family coaster. JoshuaA
Tom
I thought it was the Mack version, either way I agree it's better than nothing
JohnD
I would say better than nothing, but for me it isn't as I'm never going to actually go on it so it might as well be nothing. I wasn't expecting much, but I was hoping for something I'd at least consider riding once. Merry-go-girl
I'm not a huge fan of rides that are weather dependent, this is the UK after all. And this thing looks like a kiddies washing machine simulator, I don't see much universal appeal.
dk3
How cheap/nasty/boring/rubbish - delete as applicable. Spend the money on bringing three trains back to the Vampire (or something/anything else).
TraX
Who exactly is running/making the final decisions at Chessington? They need to be fired, as they obviously have no idea what the park actually needs. Â At least it will make Mystic East look much better than it's current state of utter disrepair.. Oh wait, it won't. Imagineer and Jack F
MattyMoo
Maybe their thinking is by having a "new" water ride, people won't mind so much when they have to shut Dragon Falls for a refurb and/or to work on (or destroy ) the Tomb Blaster building. Â Even with that in mind, as already said, this isn't what CWoA needs right now. Could be worse though, could be a year round maze, right?! Ian-S
How cheap/nasty/boring/rubbish - delete as applicable. Spend the money on bringing three trains back to the Vampire (or something/anything else). Even better I'd take the present two trains being run efficiently instead of a 90 minute queue being acceptable on a wet weekend in October. dk3
JoshuaA
I actually would actually prefer a year round maze to this, at least a year round maze will be good year round. Our British weather will mean this will be unpopular until the summer,(even then its hit and miss when it is hot).

ashleyrose-66
The Facebook page - Chessington Buzz have said that Chessington have removed all details regarding a new ride for 2016 from their website. Speculation is that it's been pulled and there will be no new attraction next year!
SteveJ
There is no new attraction next year, it was cancelled and the budget went to improving old attractions - very positive change indeed. dk3, Kerfuffle, Matt 236 and 1 other
