JamminGamer
I definitely am on the path of him sounding like a really possessive parent protecting his baby Though to be fair..... JoshC.
Noticed that the advert appeared on ITV1 about 15 minutes ago, so that answers the question of whether it's gone live. David B and JamminGamer

Olistjj
According to a guy called Dilan working on X the ride is finished and it's just staff training/ testing now. How much of that is true I don't have a clue but thought I'd slip it in. mikeymclaughlin and Kerfuffle

swooddow
Yer I would have to agree there ! , I'm sure they would have to go through all the rehearsals with the cast and ride staff training, so it's all perfect for opening day. ! StevenVig
Got an email this morning from the Retail Department, a limited number of Levitating Ghost Trains are now being reserved for those who pre-registered. mikeymclaughlin

Marhelorpe
Just to add, the email also said the following message: Quote "Due to the limited number we are only offering these to you as you have registered your interest and are the first on the list. These will not be released for general sale for the time and will be held for those of you who wish to purchase one." It also said they can be held by the park in the Ghost Train Shop for up to 2 weeks ready for you to collect and purchase. Hopefully that will be it time for when the ride actually opens! JamminGamer
Considering the month of May ends in about 2 weeks I would hope so!
L7123456
I'm desperate to buy a levitating train! I just don't have £50 lying around to buy one. What does look promising, is that it says that they will not be release for general sale 'for the time'. Hopefully this is hinting at the trains going on sale eventually to everyone, but they want to keep it limited edition for the time being! mah boi
I am very interested in the train and would most likely buy one. However, the last time I visited Thorpe was on the friends and family day and the shop wasn't open, so I couldn't register my interest. If thorpe allowed people to register their interest online, I would. It would be a bonus if they were able to post the levitating trains as well as I am not sure whether I would be able to visit thorpe during the rest of this year. Owen
You could register your interest via Facebook messaging and email (like I did). It's only those who registered early on at the moment as they only have part of the order. Those further on the list will either receive emails if these trains aren't claimed or more come in. Patience is a virtue, wait and you will be rewarded!

OldFarmerDean
Sorry if this has previously been mentioned, but on the website page for DBGT the number of people per train has changed from 60 to 58!
JamminGamer
I wonder if in the testing phase they've found that certain seats don't respond to the VR very well or something, I can't think of many reasons why the number of people would change. Matt 236
Slight reduction in throughput? Panic everyone, tear up your tickets, shred your passes. it's the end of the world!
L7123456
There aren't very many reasons as to why the seat number would suddenly change like that, unless (as previously stated) the VR isn't working on those two certain seats. The length of the ride on the website has also been changed from 13 minutes to 10-15 minutes.
