yeah
4 hours queue according to Facebook
Mark9
I could probably 100%, without a shadow of a doubt, say this is an attraction with a way to low throughput.
Cal
I know that, but he claimed timed tickets would be available for at least the first few months so queueing won't be bad... Seems they kept everything open until half 6 instead of just the coasters which is good
Nick Hutson
I think it's the two photo spots that do it in the queue.
3Dimensions
Wonder if anyone has tried taking of the VR during the ride
JamminGamer
I don't think the queue was ever as bad as has been suggested. Max 2.5 hours I would think. Most we queued was an hour. Had 4 rides total now! ArtfulRaceHorse
JamminGamer
Spoke to a member of staff about 2nd ending. She seemed to believe that it is not in use currently and didn't say when it might be. Hoping for something interesting! I have been wondering whether the dolls and the demon animatronic were going to see any use besides publicity stuff. Maybe we'll see them there? She also said it was a successful opening! ArtfulRaceHorse
Mitchada04
Well the demon only arrived back at Thorpe in the past few weeks. And last we saw, Derren had the dolls and was using them to scare his flatmates I assume they'll be used at the media night, could have them roaming at FN. Could also easily add them to the live action scene.
Benin
What sense would the Victorian dolls make to the storyline though? Sounds like the usual stuff that is rolled out for PR but never actually linked to the ride in real life...
Owen
The dolls are seen within the attraction according to some who rode early previews, however this may or may not be 100% true.
Owen
Considering the attraction is believed to be on limited capacity, I'd say that it's doing ok! 1 hour ago, 3Dimensions said: Wonder if anyone has tried taking of the VR during the ride Yes, yes they have. Joegibbon
I can't see this having too bad of a throughput when up and running at full capacity, not as good as the coasters but not bad by a long shot. It seems to me that they send a group of 40 in every 3-4 minutes or so.
Mitchada04
The photo points aren't causing a 2 hour queue. And we found they're actually nice as they keep the queue moving at a constant pace instead of stop starting. And when they were being too slow they'd just flood a group of 60 through the 2nd photo point. At no point were they short of people between the second photo point and bag drop. Throughput I've heard will be in the region of 8/900 pph when fully going. I don't think the batching will get much quicker, just the group sizes a bit larger. If the second video isn't ready still and the throughput not 100% with broken headsets still an issue, should it be officially open? I know Thorpe will have wanted it open as soon as possible, but it just seems to be asking for trouble.

Aslong as there is enough guests waiting after the final photo point (which there always is) - they make no difference atall to the through puts. Not sure if it's on full capacity but if it isn't it manages to eat through a queue fairly well! Cian

Coaster
Surprised they're allowing videos showing most of the interior to appear online: http://www.standard.co.uk/goingout/attractions/derren-brown-promises-virtual-reality-ghost-train-will-give-fans-ride-of-their-life-a3290111.html (Obviously the above link contains spoilers!) Marc
^ does show of the level of detail which has gone in to this thing - when on the ride you don't get much chance to appreciate how realistic that train in the station looks!
