MattyMoo
Will the drop tower that replaces RR still be classed as Forbidden Kingdom do we think?

It would certainly make sense. I guess it's also possible that Forbidden Kingdom could also see a retheme next year / when they inevitably tart up Tomb Blaster, which I could see happening in 2021 or 2022. Its planned to be called Sobek (the name of an ancient Egyptian figure with a crocodile head), so I would imagine it's still part of Forbidden Kingdom. MattyMoo
Cheers chaps - that's our quota of sensible discussion completed for this week. Can they really tart up Tomb Blaster again? I suppose people still do love in the dark pew pew shooty laser ride things.

Theme Park Fanatic
Am I the only forum member that thinks that Merlin might relocate the disused Ranger County theming from Thorpe Park to Chessington, for use in the new Rainforest land? Chessington Buzz have stated that as well as an new logo Treetop Hoppers will also be reversed to face Safari Rangers (Toadies Crazy Cars). Who else agrees or disagrees with this claim. Do my fellow forum members think that adults will be able to ride the rides within the Rainforest without accompanying a child. I ask this as despite physically being a 20 year old man,in my soul I'm a big kid who must admit he's incredibly eager and exited to explore the Rainforest land as well as ride the attractions that'll reside within. I wouldn't be surprised if Safari Rangers,River Rafts or both use Mist machines,Projection mapping,3Dmodels,animatronics,smell pods and sound effects. I'm hoping for an Elephant that squirts water from its trunk, like the one that used to be located on the route of Dragon Falls when The Land Of The Tiger was Mystic East. With regards to the other theming that I'm hopeing to see animatronics amongst other theming elements that are as realistic as those in the Jungle Cruise at Disneyworld but being realistic I don't think an English theme park will ever build a ride to the standard of the rides at Disneyworld. Theme Park Fanatic
What exotic animals do you think could end up living in the Rainforest land besides the already confirmed Giant Tortoises and Capybara?
Benin
I'm sure you'll be able to ride these rides (not sure on the flume tbh), just expect strange looks as you try to squeeze in the Bouncers seats. Didn't even realise Chessington Buzz was still a thing 😂
Theme Park Fanatic
I should fit into the Crocodile's on River Rafts. I went on Pirates Falls at Legoland Windsor. I think River Rafts and Pirates Falls are both the same size, and maybe even manufactured by the same company. If you compare pictures \videos of both the flumes Pirates Falls looks taller but I think the wooden rooth on top of the drop creates this optical illusion. Can my fellow forum members please tell me if they think I'm correct?
Mattgwise
The boats are a lot smaller on the log flume coming to Chessington. Here is the exact ride...
Theme Park Fanatic
Mattgwise I should fit in the boat as I believe that the person sat at the back in a pink raincoat is a full grown women. I'm a very short man at only 5ft in height so my slim frame should slip into the boat with ease. I'm terms of length and height of the track its the same as Pirates Falls at Legoland Windsor isn't it?
Matt 236
I’m not riding the Crocodile Flume. Grabbing a kiddie coaster Cred is one thing, but a kiddie water Cred? Nah I’m alright. Anything could happen with this updated area. Except the opening of a Rainforest Cafe.

They are nothing alike , pirate falls is a proper log flume, just not a massive drop JoshuaA
Matt A
A few photos of the refurbished flume pieces from the company doing the overhaul in case anyone is interested (doesn't show much): https://www.garmendale.co.uk/blog/log-flume-refurbishment/
Theme Park Fanatic
I personally can't wait to experience the Jungle Rangers,River Rafts and Treetop Hoppers. I hope Chessington theme the indoor section of the log flume will.

Theme Park Fanatic
You say that but Toadies Crazy Cars neaver had a cut off age.Due to this I don't think that Jungle Rangers will have any rules prohibiting adults from rideing. StevenVig
Any grown adult that tries to squeeze themselves onto a ride that is intentionally designed for children, without actually having a child, should really have a word with themselves. Who even cares about 'creds' these days? 🙄 MattyMoo
Mattgwise
Actually StevenVig I have a friend with a brother who is 28 and has autism and going on children's rides that he can fit in calms him and he finds it enjoyable. So there are people who go on children's rides as grown ups. And although I've never been one for creds it's a theme park forum for crying out loud so there's probably a large proportion on here who do! 🤦♂️ Matt A, JoshuaA, alexander and 4 others 4
Benin
#doitforthecred Could be worse, could try and steal random children to get the cred like the Americans do. P.S. Log Flumes aren't creds.

Don't the English try to do this with Gullivers anyways? It's better than being escorted round the park by a member of staff like a criminal anyways... Benin
I found the guy who escorted me around Matlock Bath lovely actually. I even sent a thank you email afterwards. That being said I'll certainly be offering a trip to the new Gulliver's with the nieces and nephew when it opens Glitch and JoshC.
Glitch
Looks great, two smart really well themed kids rides, I reiterate KIDS RIDES, please don't complain if you the enthusiast aren't allowed on a ride intended for children under the age of 6.
