Adam P
Again, not sure how many of you have seen Vampire construction pictures, but we have been able to share some (I have seen one floating around before) but never these, sorry if you have! http://themeuk.net/Chessington_Site/?page_id=1298 JoshC., terrortomb, pluk and 1 other

SteveJ
These and the Dragon River photos are all from the archive boards they put out for Science Week weren't they? Thanks for displaying them now, I hadn't visited at the time.
Adam P
Spotted this out of the corner of my eye today... Not the best bit of theme Vampire has received in recent years, sure hope its not finished.
Benin
Isn't that the old graveyard entrance into the station building? More fencing </
HermanTheGerman
Errrggh! That's absolutely hideous! Why Chessington?! Why!
SteveJ
Looooool Maybe someone at Merlin has a friend who runs an untreated wooden fence business? This will last considerably shorter than the old concrete walls, and look shockingly ugly. At a guess it's to move the batch point closer to station? This was always a massive flaw when fastrack was introduced. Another reason why Fastrack is ruining theme parks. How embarrassing. They'll run out of things to demolish soon. Project LC
It could always be a response to the many health and safety failings they were picked up on.
SteveJ
Not exaggerating, if they wanted to responded fully to all the health and safety concerns that were brought up they'd have to demolish half the park and shut down major rides. …Oh. HermanTheGerman
I really really hope noting has been done to the inside queue. I fear it could have been done to fit a single rider queue like Fury? If so then the build up for the ride has no doubt been ruined.
Fred
Looks lovely! What are you all moaning about? I do enjoy a bit of wood on cladded building. There's some sort of great feeling about it.
Nosferatu
Wow, it looks like the crypt that leads into the station has been completely destroyed. At this rate there won't be any theming at chessington left.

pluk
I know 'kill it with fire' is just a phrase, but they've made it so hideously flammable I'm tempted. MattyMoo, MachoMachine, lewumbrajumbos and 2 others
Whatever
That wooden fence makes it look more like 'Lumberjack' rather than 'Vampire' CWOAfanMalcolm and MattyMoo
TraX
Come on guys, I'm sure that it's not finished. Will get an animal painted on it, African themed, or poster frames advertising the hotels. It won't look too bad. Imagineer, Kerfuffle, TPJames and 2 others
Project LC
I dont like the sound of that I would much prefer some sort of broken screen or broken effect put on the lovely wooden fence. MattyMoo
MattyMoo
Yet another after effect of the tomb blaster incident (which was done by park neglect) Joins the Ramesis new cattle pen queue & falls. Rameses new cattle pen queue? Srsly? Any pictures? Top marks for some of the posts regarding this new Vampire addition - made me spit out my coffee. I particularly liked the idea of painting some animals on it and putting up some adverts for the hotel Vampire: Voyage into the Jungle! Kerfuffle
Vampire: Voyage into the Jungle! They do seem to like their new African theme, don't they? Come on Chessington. That isn't how you originated! You rose from the dirt back in '87 with brilliantly themed lands, ranging from Transylvania to Land of the Dragons...but due to the number of additions seen with this 'explorer' type of theme since 2010, I fear that one day all of these themed lands will merge into one land with the same theme...African adventure. HermanTheGerman
Themes at Chessington in five years time 1/ African adventure 2/ Lost Temple/shrub/building 3/ Abandond land Because Scorpion Express, Market Square V2, Penguins of Madagascar Live and Penguin Bay all fit into the above... They only pick those themes because they work anyway! Even if Africa is becoming a bit excessive, its still better than the other parks where its just oil drums, satellites, and partially destroyed buildings. It's better than themes at Chessington now: 1/ Derelict theme park 2/ Market Square Two of Chessington's (10) areas are in derelict, two. Both are being sorted in due course anyway. Yay! Fanboyism! pluk, pognoi and Adam P
