I'm glad I'm not the only one to remember that - the blue and yellow gloves which always made things was the best.

Zzzap used to f**k with my head. The whole comic book going around silence apart from horrible ZZZZZZZZZ noises.. used to really give me a headache. Not nice memories :D

Aha Park Life! YES! Main thing I remember about that programme was how miserable all the staff were and how bleak they made it look!

I remember when Fireman Sam was the best damn thing in TV.

Remember the one where Norman went fishing and pulled the plug out the bottom of the lake? Absolutely brilliant. :P

I remember when Legoland wasn't so commercialised during its early years where although fewer rides, there was much more character in the park including the technic robot band in My Town (now Lego City), more animatronic scenes on Pirate Falls the original waterworks (before the ones removed for the current ones) and also the mystic Explorers Institute and the atmospheric Magic Theatre.

All of these now removed, the latter two at least for worse.

When polo mints were 10p - I used to eat a pack on the way to school and another one the way home - no wonder I have so many fillings :o

And theme park related.....when I first went on Dragon Falls (Dragon River back then) and was so scared that I seriously contemplated getting out at the top then realised that perhaps it wasnt the best idea

I remember when having a bag of crisps was an actual treat on a Saturday night, picking your flavour was a big important decision. Me, Mum and Sister on the sofa squabbling about which channel to watch, Jeremy Beadle, The A Team, some crappy game show, Paul Daniels and then Carney and Lacey once my sister had gone to bed.

Then Sunday afternoons round my Grans house, endless sunny afternoons in the garden, called in for ham sandwiches or cheese on toast on my special plate with Bullseye on the tele.

Happy carefree times.
