Clearing the drainage system would help, when we got a whiff it smelt a lot like one of those fat barges the water board is forever having to clear from the sewers when people pour hot fat down the drains. The last time it burnt down and was rebuilt was in 1919, but the previous plumbing may well have been intact still. But they could have redone all that when the site became a theme park in 1987. Instead of flogging pots of nectar to feed the birds, charge a few quid for a go of an air rifle and take out a few monster rats. Fun for all the family! Magic Carpet was great for 1987 and Samurai was great in 1999 but that was over 15 years ago. It's the same thought pattern that wants Bubbleworks to return to its Professor Burp days, it's not pushing the park forward, just keeping it in the past. I accept that the period between 1995-2000 was the parks greatest days but if the place is to have any future it needs to strive to lead, not keep relying on the rides that made it what it was.
