Inferno
I was there yesterday too! It was so quiet during the afternoon, queues of 0-10 mins! After riding it 4 times in a row, we had to move on. Riding the Smiler is very hard work. I'd definitely say it is much rougher now that it was when it opened. Tom
Riding the Smiler is very hard work. I think this sums up The Smiler for me now. Inferno
Topsyturvy15
Really hope it's open Saturday, have managed to get this far without finding out what it does from the impression I've got it sounds as if it looks better than it is, fair point? Anyone got any idea how long it is in terms of time compared with saw?
J.S217
It is about 75 seconds longer
darkadder312
Wow Smiler has a 25 Min queue at the moment via RideTimes
Inferno
^ On Tuesday they were putting out announcements around the park saying that the Smiler had no queue. We rode 4 times, and on 3 of those the line started about half way through the indoor queue. OldFarmerDean
Coaster
^ On Tuesday they were putting out announcements around the park saying that the Smiler had no queue. Wish they wouldn't do that, it would be nicer to be able to enjoy it having no queue for longer
FrightNights04
Is the smiler better than nemesis? I've not been on the smiler, only nemesis
Topsyturvy15
It is about 75 seconds longer So at least 75 times longer than the Swarm then (to anyone that doesn't know I openly slate the Swarm for its length!)
EC!
Had a fantastic run on train 1 front row middle seat with Mer and j.s217, it was so smooth and the jolt went completely unoticed, more rides on smiler like this and it will go up in my list!!! Kerfuffle
Who needs the front row when you have the back row? Cornflakes
Fred
Back row on smiler? Eurgh. Tom
pognoi
Yes. It looks incredible, a true steel beast, but personally I think it rides terribly. Although it looks truly stunning.
mah boi
When I rode it, it was smooth. However the transition on the cobra roll was very sudden as I was sitting in the back row. I do hope they do something with that part of the cobra roll, even if it may be expensive. Cornflakes and Kerfuffle
darkadder312
Got my first go at Smiler on Saturday got given a better car then than on Sunday. Seeing the planned maintenance they been doing is helping keeping it open more.
Coaster
Which is the bad/worst car?
Tom
All of them. Aka the track.

EC!
Well when me, mer and jack on smiler on train 1 front row it was almost B&M smooth and not making that up it, was the jolt was non existent, train 4 by far the worst was very rattely but even then the whole group thought that was smoothish compared with Saw, I like this ride and we had good times on it Cornflakes and dragon2000
Marc
Smilers problem isnt really the trains as such though, if you watch the ride the entire train un-naturally shifts to the side when it goes through that part of the Cobra Roll, you feel it more on different rows etc but it will always be there unless they fix the issue with the track. pluk
Ola from Espania! Quick question plz, internets cost Euros where I am so can not go trawling back. Trying to plan a Towers trip for retern from here so we can book before the 99 pound offer expiers. Could anyone please let me know if there is any planned maintainence downtime due for next week? Thanks!

EC!
Managed to film the ride before it broke down on both days, sorry for the J.s217 voicebomb at the start Coaster
Topsyturvy15
The ride looks brilliant from the queue and outside. Sumday was my first go and although it's a decent coaster it was a bit meh ... Yeah there's loads of inversions but what's so unique? You can't see the effects on ride and the indoor section needs a little more doing to it. All this said its still a fun ride and I enjoyed it, can't really ask for much more than that it is certainly true that some trains hurt more than others but if anyone wants real discomfort try submission :s :s :s
