June 24, 20169 yr comment_237307 shell shock noun noun: shellshock psychological disturbance caused by prolonged exposure to active warfare, especially being under bombardment. Yeah no you definitely don't get shellshock at all nope
June 24, 20169 yr comment_237313 I have a lot of confessions. I have never and have no intention of doing scare mazes or going to theme parks at Halloween. I'm not particularly good with jumpscares. I didn't do any of the big rides when I was in America (three years ago) and I regret that massively. The Smiler was my first inverting coaster. Never done a single inversion before then. And now I love inversions Freefall drops really unsettle me. Never been on Thirteen because of that. I find wave swingers traumatising. I also find drop towers quite alarming. Hoping to get over that and go on Detonator in about two weeks. May be the only one that thinks this, but I think Wodan is a pretty unoriginal name for a coaster. It's literally called wooden coaster.

You should give scare mazes a go - I was petrified when I did my first one but loved it (and I get pretty bad anxiety) - I find them to be a good laugh Wow Smiler was your first inverting coaster? Impressive! Mine was Space Mountain at DLP although I remember feeling really chuffed when I finally did an upside down coaster. Yup I'm with you on freefall drops - I'm not a fan of drop rides - did Detonator back in 2013 4 times and just cannot bring myself to do it again. I would urge you to try Th13teen - its a brilliant rollercoaster - one of my faves at Towers and the drop isn't bad at all Wave swingers I used to hate after going on Billys Whizzer (not Monkey Swinger) at Chessie and feeling ill for about 3 hours after - have since discovered motion sickness tablets which help - I do always thing "what if this swing I'm sat on just fell off" Have you ever done a drop tower? Detty is quite intense. I'm fine on things like the drop ride at the Dungeons, or Magma at Paultons Park but for me Detonator is too much for my anxiety - definitely give it a go though - my niece finally went on Detonator the other week after being petrified of it (not helped by me saying I won't ever ride it again) - I thought she'd hate it but she ended up going on it 5 times that day

July 31, 20169 yr comment_239266 I thought Kong at Islands of Adventure was meh, overall confession: dark rides don't immerse me (unless there's a good thrill ride/roller coaster combined).

Any ride of its kind scares me ****less. I find the Toadstool very boring tbh. Monkey Swinger ftw.
July 31, 20169 yr comment_239289 I never liked Bubbleworks that much and I'm not sad that it's going. There. I said it. *prepares for the incoming wave of hate*

August 5, 20169 yr comment_239476 Just realised Piccolo Mondo at Europa Park used to be known as Ciao Bambini and as a result received a major retheme/refurb in 2011. Knew the soundtrack sounded comparatively different to the one I bought.
August 13, 20169 yr comment_239897 Obviously I've always been hearing this song playing by Tidal Wave...but until a few weeks ago I didn't actually know the name of it...let alone the lyrics! Well I do now.
August 13, 20169 yr comment_239922 I never expected to find a ride that would be beyond a thrill level I could handle. nor did I expect it to be a twirling teacups in Pepper World, even if it was on a Peaj's tea cup setting.
August 15, 20169 yr comment_240034 I don't do teacups. Ever. I get you. I don't know about your experiences on them but they make me feel so sick afterwards.

August 17, 20169 yr comment_240135 I mistook a fellow rider in Sub Terra for my father. Concluded with a very concerned stare from a stranger after I spoke to them for a solid 30 seconds and jokingly shoved them.
August 18, 20169 yr comment_240157 It wasn't very good. You didn't miss out on anything remotely special.
August 18, 20169 yr comment_240165 I've never been to Chessington. (And I actually preferred the Flume to loggers. But I never rode Loggers with the tunnel so that may be why)

The last drop was what got me, I have an amazing photo lol. Confession: I got the Wall-E game for my sixth birthday. We had to take it back because it terrified me to the point I didn't sleep. Why? WELL THIS IS WHY (The Eve one got me)
August 18, 20169 yr comment_240186 The Flume was a great ride IMO - it was long, had three drops, a tunnel and a very high throughput.
