Hi All,I am going to Thorpe Park tomorrow for the very first time and cannot wait.I am however slightly concerned at the chest restrictions on some of the rides. Does anybody know what size the restraints are on the bigger rides? SAW, Nemesis etcI am large lad, have a 52" chest, large legs and also a bit of a belly on me lol, I am just wanting to know if I'm gonna struggle getting on some of the rides.Your comments would be most appreciate. Thanks everyone

So we all know us curvy women have extra lumps and bumps that the seats aren’t so accommodating for, that’s no surprise! That in mind I thought a general discussion thread of size would be fair. I was thinking of a quick fire answers of size (measurement if you’re brave), which rides you did and did not fit on and any tips? No shaming, no nasty comments and just great general chubby gal advice! I’ll go first! Size 16 top, 18 on bottoms and fit on all the rides/test seats! I carry my weight mainly on my lower half FYI. My tip is tipping forward in your seat to try and squish your bum back and in your seat!

Hey guys, with Hyperia opening very soon I was thinking of hiring out my boat for close accommodation, it is just opposite, about 2 minutes walk and free parking. I know how busy it's going to get and so many people will be travelling from far and wide so thought someone might be interested? Message me for me info, its lovely and has all the facilities ☺️🎢🚤🌊

Well I have been planning to create a topic about Closed Rides for Thorpe Park within a couple of days before the season begins (Saturday 10th Febuary 2007). Here you can discuss about;-Ride avaibility.-Ride reliaibity.-Your prediction of ride avaibility and reliaibity.-Which rides have been been mentioned on the Thorpe Park Offical Website (TPOF) will be unavaible for a certain amount of day(s).-Your feelings about what rides were closed on the day you went (or the day your planning to go).-Other relating discussion and comments. Please note that I will be recording everyday of the season, which rides have been mentioned on the website that will be unavaible from when I g…

Simple topic really, just for updates and that over the closed season. (By the way, mods, can this be put in the General Thorpe Park Section? )Not much I can say really, and unfortunately I don't have any pictures, but there's a chance of some in the nest few days from me. Vertical construction of Storm Surge is not visible from outside the park yet. The majority of the slide is still in the staff car park, however, the lift hill section has been moved (whether it's just been moved out of site, or somewhere slightly more productive I dunno. Rush's swigs haven't been taken off (which is different to previous seasons I believe?) and Slammer doesn't have any scaffolding…

It's 3am, can't sleep and thought this would be an interesting poll as at one point these were the only two "big" coasters at Thorpe and its not been done before! I have a feeling I'll be shot down for even asking and for what my answer is, but it will be interesting to see everyone's opinions I have to say Colossus. Inferno is a good coaster and yeah it has some great, forceful moments (which often result on me coming off with a headache!) but it just doesn't do it for me for some reason. Yes it's fun but at the same time I find myself bored, dare I say it! Pre-lift is good fun, first drop with the kicker is good (and better than Colossus'), loop, zero-g and that turn…

Had a good day at Thorpe Park? Or would like to mention a particular member of staff that made your day that little bit extra special? Feel free to post any compliments here, or mentions to members of the Thorpe Park team.

https://www.thorpepark.com/resort-information/food-drink/restaurants I'm not sure if this has already discussed on here, but the Coffee Shack in the Dome is going to start selling Costa Coffee and their food. I think it will be nice to get a cup before I leave. I wonder if you will be able to get MAP discount here?

  18. HELP PLEASE! If anyone has been to Thorpe Park before please can you answer my questionnaire all about your customer experience at Thorpe Park. This is for my dissertation, it will take about 10 - 15 minutes to complete and if you add your email at the end of the questionnaire you will be entered into a draw to win a £20 Amazon gift card!! Your experience matters to me! If you can like and share it would help as I need to obtain as many responses as possible! Thank you! Why were large security guards at Thorpe Park last night beating up young black boys and girls when they were not doing anything wrong. Then they put them in handcuffs when they had not committed any crimes . Security would NOT provide any details about themselves to the public.

Apparently, last Sunday was the worst day ever for trouble being caused by the traveller community who were at the park in large numbers. Several occurrences of queue hopping, pushing and it seems fisticuffs, due to this type behaving in their unsociable way. Glad I didn't go over until Monday.

Storm in a Teacup is awesome, so here's a topic about it.Originally teacup twisters, then themed to Storm in a Teacup WHENEVER, and now Storm in a Teacup sponsered by tetley tea!No day at a Theme Park is complete without a ride on the teacups. (or similar (Marauders Mayhem anyone?))Oh and Chessington has teacups on their carousel, so that counts!Has anybody else noticed they're playing WWTP radio on storm in a teacup? Has it always been in Amity Cove?Video times: Teacup madness with Perry the Platypus is at 0:50 seconds!

The new maze is without a doubt the best of them all, and the two times that I went through, I was taken in different different directions. It's hard to explain without spoiling it, but it really plays on a few fears!
